character: iguro_obanai, copyright: kimetsu_no_yaiba 1boy, solo, iguro obanai, male, short black hair, long black hair, straight hair, pale skin, heterochromia, yellow eye, blue eye, mummy costume, full-body bandage wrapping, bandages wrapped around body, bandages around head, bandages around arms, bandages around legs, bandages around torso, loose trailing bandage ends, fresh white linen, halloween theme, costume change, standing on one leg, arms up, outstretched arm, one arm raised, head tilt, looking up, half-closed eyes, light smile, from below, foreshortening, night, full moon, bare trees, gravestones, fallen leaves, single light source, moonlight, cool blue palette, warm lantern accent, tension, quiet mischief Camera looks up from low ground level at a slight foreshortening as the single figure balanced on his right foot, left leg folded up with the knee raised and the foot tucked behind the other calf. Both arms are flung upward, the right arm stretched higher, wrist loose, fingers splayed as if he has just finished flinging an unseen sheet into the air; the whole body is caught mid-gesture, weight carried on the right leg with the left hip dropped. Every limb is encased in layered strips of fresh off-white linen wound in overlapping spiral turns, the winding visible as helical ridges down the arms, across the chest, around the thighs and shins, the ends knotted at the shoulder and at the right wrist, with two loose bandage tails still swinging out from the forearm and the left ankle in the direction the arm just swept. The head is wrapped to the crown in the same linen, the strips crossing over the brow; beneath that edge the short straight black hair breaks out in a few strands at the temple and the nape, and the face shows through the open wrap: pale skin, one yellow eye and one blue eye, both half-lidded, brows lifted on one side, a faint closed-lip smile turning up more on the left, the chin tipped back so the eyes look up and off to the side of the frame rather than at the viewer. His mouth is partly hidden by a diagonal bandage running across the jaw, and the bandage ends on that strip lift slightly with his breath. Behind him the ground is a low graveyard ridge of crooked headstones half-sunk in drifted leaves, bare branch silhouettes clawing across the sky, and a full moon placed high left of the frame; the moon is the only real light source, cool and blue-white, striking the raised right hand and the left cheek from the upper left while the left side of his body, the underside of the folded leg and the far side of his face fall into deep blue shadow, and a long thin cast shadow of the leg and the swinging bandage tails stretches down and to the right across the leaves. Every upward-facing surface catches the moon - the top of the head wrap, the tops of the shoulders, the headstone caps - while the bandage undersides and the leaf litter stay dark, and the strips of linen show the moon as hard bright edges where the weave turns and a soft dim sheen where the cloth lies flat. A single warm orange pumpkin lantern sits low at the right edge of frame, its glow only touching the near bandage edge and gilding the fallen leaves in a narrow wedge that does not reach his face. The palette is moonlight blue, bone white and near-black, with the one warm ember at the frame edge; the composition is dominated by the rising, off-balance diagonal of the arm and the body, negative space in the upper right holding the moon and the bare branches. Playful, eerie.
