1girl, solo, looking at viewer, smiling, open mouth, canine teeth, large lips, big pointy ears, black hair, brown eyes, face freckles, body freckles, freckled skin, tan skin, brown skin, curvy, wide hips, thick thighs, large breasts, huge breasts, cleavage, big ass, aztec tattoos, aztec clothing, colorful clothes, aztec headdress, feathers, laying on back, lying on back, on an altar, stone altar, from above, foreshortening, arms up, mexican flag colors, green red and gold palette, warm candlelight From a steep high angle directly above the altar, foreshortening the body toward the lens, the lone woman lies on her back across a carved volcanic-stone altar slab, the altar filling the lower two thirds of the frame with a scatter of marigold petals on its edge; her black hair, long and heavy, fans outward across the stone above her crown, strands crossing the carved relief. Her head is tipped back at the near end of the slab, chin lifted so her brown eyes look straight up into the viewer's eyes, her smile broad and open, the upper canines showing sharp and white above a full lower lip, big pointy ears standing clear of the hair with their tips aimed out to either side. Her tan brown skin is dusted everywhere with freckles -- across her nose and cheeks, her shoulders, her chest, her forearms -- and banded aztec tattoos in black and ochre curl around both upper arms and one across her hip, ink crisp against the brown skin. She arches slightly, weight settled through both shoulder blades and her hips on the stone, one knee bent up higher with the sole of that foot flat on the slab and the other leg extended, which rolls her curvy figure so the bust reads full and heavy under the cloth and the hip and thigh flare wide to the right of frame. Her clothing is a woven huipil of bright cotton panels, deep green with red and gold embroidery and a stepped geometric border, cut wide at the shoulders and gathered at the waist with a red sash, the skirt of it spread and folded across her hips; her arms are raised, both hands hooked on the rim of the altar just above her head, elbows bent and open, nothing held. A tall aztec headdress of green quetzal plumes, red macaw feathers and a gold-banded browpiece lies across the stone behind her head, its feathers splayed in a fan that the edge of the altar crops. The single light source is a cluster of candles off frame to the lower left: it strikes the left side of her face, the high points of her shoulders, the gold thread of the embroidery and the gold brow band, and lays long soft shadows to the right across her body and off the slab's far edge, where the stone goes dark; the sweat-sheen of the abraded stone catches only where the light reaches. Palette is Mexico's green, red and gold against warm brown skin and grey basalt, oil-warm and saturated. Quiet ceremonial heat.
