Detail budget spent on the head, the eye rows, the mouthparts, the joint sockets and the leg rhythm; the far half of the trunk simplified into a receding ladder of segments. Rendered as a graphic ink piece with crosshatching in the shadow and hard halftone screentone on the lit planes. Menacing, precise.
