A vertical two-panel comic strip composition displaying a sequential scene, framed in dynamic three-quarter close-ups.
In the top panel, set inside a sunlit high school classroom during study hours, a teenage boy with sharp, explosive ash-blonde spiky hair and piercing crimson eyes sits hunched over his wooden desk. His expression is one of pure aggravated misery, his forehead creased with deep tension lines and the tip of his nose conspicuously flushed red and twitching from an intolerable internal itch. Glancing sideways with an irritable, defensive grimace to ensure no classmates are watching, he jams his right index finger, tightly wrapped in a crinkled white facial tissue, into his right nostril to furiously scratch the deep itch, stretching the outer wing of his nostril sideways. The delicate white paper visibly creases and flattens against the nasal cartilage under the pressure of his fingertip, while his left hand rests balled into a tense fist on the wooden desk surface beside an open notebook. Soft, natural afternoon daylight streams through the tall classroom windows to the left, casting diagonal beam angles and warm yellow highlights across the desk edge and his rumpled white uniform shirt, while the blackboard and blurred classroom interior fade into the soft-focus background.
In the bottom panel, taking place after class inside the institutional school restroom, the same spiky-haired youth stands hunched aggressively forward over a wide white ceramic washbasin. Having reached his limit with the relentless nasal irritation, he clamps a thick, coarse sheet of unbleached brown paper towel firmly over his nose and mouth with both hands, his knuckles white and thumbs braced hard against his cheekbones. His eyes are squeezed tightly shut and his brow furrows intensely as his cheeks puff out, aggressively exhaling a tremendous, explosive blast of air through his congested nostrils into the towel. The fibrous brown kraft paper balloons outward from the concentrated air burst, and a darker, translucent damp oval immediately saturates the center of the coarse paper fibers at the direct point of impact. Floating beside his clenched hands, bold, jagged comic sound-effect lettering vibrates dynamically, reading "HONK!!" with small radiating shock lines and tiny droplet impact marks accentuating the sheer, unbridled volume of the blow. Overhead fluorescent restroom lights cast stark, cool white illumination across the glossy chrome faucet, the sea-green tiled walls, and the reflection of his hunched shoulders in the mirror behind him. Grungy comedic intensity.
