A low-angle dynamic shot tilted along the slick earthen incline captures a young woman with a long blonde ponytail and blue eyes mid-disaster as she slips and skids down a steep slope. Having lost her footing, she has landed squarely on her bottom, sliding rapidly downward through an abundant wash of wet mud. Her legs are kicked forward and slightly splayed as her boots carve deep troughs through the slick ground, flinging thick clumps of sludge into the air. One gloved hand trails backward into the wet muck to arrest her momentum, while the other hand flails outward in an instinctive scramble for balance. Her head snaps back with wide, panic-stricken blue eyes staring directly ahead, mouth open in a startled cry, cheeks flushed under splatters of grime. Her pastel pink dress and white apron are saturated and heavily coated with an opaque, viscous mixture of chalky white clay and dark brown earth, the two colors swirling across the damp fabric in thick, marbled ribbons. Streaks of the pale and dark mud cling to her cheeks, collarbones, and the damp ends of her blonde sidelocks and ribbons. The shearing force of her sliding hips pushes the viscous marbled mud into curling twin wake-ridges on either side of her thighs, where the dense white and brown layers fold against each other without fully blending. Diffuse, overcast daylight glints off the glossy, wet surfaces of the churned mud and her slick clothes, while the earthen path behind her shows the long, wet skid-mark of her chaotic descent. Comical distress.
