Night Witches

The Night Witches (nicknamed Nachthexen by Germans) were a group of all female Soviet pilots during World War II who would fly by night in planes made of plywood and canvas. They would turn their engines off before reaching their German targets, flying in silence and dropping bombs with expert precision.
