Ephialt - Nightmare Satyr (Alt Artwork)
Most associate satyrs with the goat - and rightfully. In the case of Ephialts, who share some habits and features, more equine traits emerge... the traits of a nightmare. They relish in revelry, they feed on fear, they create night terrors to haunt mortals - they are fiends, through and through, born of darkness. Yet to those who best them... they can be loyal, shifting from humanoid form, to the shape of a nightmare at will to act as companion or steed. Ephialts began appearing after the demonic invasion - though even demons are unsure where they came from. (I've been doing the image generation on Tsubaki, so I decided to publish this version as well!)
