〇 Vine (Goetia) Ranked 45th among the 72 demons described in the *Goetia*, Vine is a Great King and Earl of Hell who commands 36 legions. When summoned, he is said to appear in the form of a lion astride a black horse, clutching a venomous snake in his hand (or forepaw). He possesses profound knowledge regarding hidden matters as well as the past, present, and future, and is said to be capable of sensing the presence of a mage. Given his ability to destroy towers, structures, and walls, as well as conjure storms upon the water, this character was designed with the image of a high-ranking mage wielding earth and wind attributes. He is depicted as Vapula’s older brother, a connection established due to their shared white fur. While mages are typically envisioned as seekers of mystery—often recluses who shun social interaction to immerse themselves in research—Vine is a mage who interacts with others relatively frequently. Though not constantly, he occasionally visits his younger brother and accepts commissions from the Bureau of Architecture, the Land Development Bureau, the military, and various guilds. Incidentally, he holds an A-rank in the Mages' Guild. He holds a B-rank in the Adventurers' Guild.
