Vocaloid Kamui Gakupo Megurine Luka
💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 Fruits of Care Under the grape arbor, the afternoon breeze blew gently, and the leaves rustled softly. Luka carefully set the bunch of grapes down in the center of the wicker basket, where the deep purple grapes contrasted beautifully with the bright red strawberries and golden apricots. "Thank you. This is the most special gift I've received today." She smiled warmly at Gakupo once more. Gakupo nodded gently. "If the best fruit can reach someone who truly loves fruit, then that's its best destination." Hearing this, Luka couldn't help but laugh. "You sound just like a scholar from the Grape Kingdom." "Is that so?" "Mm-hm." Luka walked along, smiling as she answered. "I thought Your Highness would say something like, 'This is the pride of our kingdom.'" Gakupo looked up at the heavily laden grape trellis overhead. "Rather than boasting about the results, I'd rather people understand that good fruit doesn't grow by chance." "Every bunch of grapes needs a long time of care." Luka nodded earnestly. "Strawberries are the same." "Our palace gardener once said that a sweet strawberry, from blossom to ripeness, needs to be carefully checked every day." "If one leaf gets sick, it can affect the whole plant." Gakupo stopped walking and looked toward a nearby raspberry bush full of leaves. "Do you tend to the strawberries yourself?" Luka answered without hesitation. "I do." She smiled and held up her hands, gesturing to show the size. "I have my own little garden." "Although the royal orchard is huge, I still like to personally tend a few rows of strawberries." "Every morning I go check if there are new blossoms, or fruit that's ripened." Gakupo looked a little surprised. "Didn't the palace staff try to stop you?" Luka shook her head gently. "At first, they did." "Everyone worried I'd get my dress dirty, or get sunburned." She gave a light laugh. "But I kept running to the garden, and eventually, they had no choice but to tend the strawberries alongside me." The corner of Gakupo's mouth lifted in a faint smile. "You seem quite persistent." "Because I love it." Luka looked down at her own hands. "I love the smell of soil, and watching the little fruits slowly grow." "Especially the first ripe strawberry each season — picking it always gives me such a sense of accomplishment." Gakupo listened quietly, a look of understanding in his eyes. "That's the same feeling I had the first time I made grape juice." "Grape juice?" Luka looked a bit surprised. "You made it yourself?" "Yes." "Father wanted me to understand every step of the process." Gakupo recalled. "From harvesting, to sorting, to pressing the juice — I did it all myself." "It wasn't perfect the first time, but when I tasted the finished product, I truly understood why the gardeners work so hard every day." A flicker of curiosity crossed Luka's eyes. "So besides making juice, what else does the Grape Kingdom make from grapes?" Gakupo thought for a moment before answering. "Dried fruit, jam, grape syrup, and grape pie." "We also cook dishes using grape leaves." Luka's eyes widened. "You can eat grape leaves too?" "You can." Gakupo nodded. "But you need to pick the more tender leaves." "I'll definitely have to try that sometime." The two walked out from under the grape arbor and came to a small stone bridge. Beneath the bridge ran a clear stream, its banks lined with mint and herbs, filling the air with a fresh fragrance. Luka crouched down and gently stirred the stream water. "There's a stream like this near the orchards in the Strawberry Kingdom too." "In summer, we put freshly picked strawberries by the cool stream to chill them." Gakupo gazed at the water's surface. "When we harvest grapes, we choose early morning." "Because the sun hasn't risen high yet, the fruit retains the most moisture and is less likely to get damaged." Luka smiled and said, "Every kingdom has its own way of doing things." "Indeed." Gakupo nodded. "There's no single correct method — only the method best suited to the land." Luka repeated the words softly. "The method best suited to the land..." She gazed thoughtfully at the orchards stretching into the distance. "I really like that saying." "Different fruits need different care." "Just like different people are good at different things." Gakupo blinked in mild surprise, then broke into a faint smile. "Well said, Princess." Just then, a clear bell chime rang out in the distance. Ding— Ding— Ding— The second stage of the tea party was about to begin; the invited royals needed to return to the central garden for the exchange event where each kingdom would showcase its signature fruits. Luka gazed reluctantly toward the depths of the fruit garden. "Time really flew by." "Yes." Gakupo also looked toward the bell tower. "I only meant to take a walk, and yet we ended up talking for so long." Luka held the basket full of fruit, her smile still gentle. "Thank you for sharing so much knowledge about grape growing with me today." Gakupo replied softly: "I learned quite a bit about strawberry cultivation too." The two exchanged a smile and walked side by side toward the central garden. The afternoon sun spilled onto the stone path, and their shadows gradually lengthened. Along the way, they kept pausing to talk about different fruits' blooming seasons, soil types, pollination methods, and the ideal orchards they each dreamed of — as if this fragrant royal fruit garden had already become a shared, cherished world of their own.
