Rest Among the Green Pastures
One year has passed since we said goodbye to Grass Wonder. This illustration is my small tribute to a legendary racehorse whose legacy continues to live on through Umamusume: Pretty Derby and through everyone who came to know and love him. I wanted to portray Grass Wonder with tears in her eyes, but still smiling — not as a picture of sadness, but as a farewell filled with warmth, gratitude, and beautiful memories. Thank you for every race, every unforgettable moment, and the legacy you left behind. Rest peacefully, Grass Wonder. You will not be forgotten. 🕊️🌼 1995–2025 One year, but never forgotten.
