The man, with short white hair, a gentle wrinkled face and a smile, wears a flat cap, a beige cardigan over a light green shirt, and brown trousers; he sits cross-legged, leaning back on one hand while looking warmly at the animals. Surrounding him are the twelve animals: a small grey-brown rat and a fluffy white rabbit nibble on sliced fruit; a sturdy dark brown ox and a plump pink-and-brown boar sit side-by-side, looking content; a playful orange striped tiger and a friendly tan dog with floppy ears are wrestling gently; a nimble brown monkey hangs onto the edge of the blanket, reaching for a sandwich; a proud rooster with a red comb and a chestnut-brown horse stand at the perimeter, watching the scene; a slender glossy snake and a blue-green serpentine dragon with whiskers are coiled together, peering curiously at a picnic basket; a fluffy white sheep with curled horns rests its head on the man's knee. Tucked against the man's side are several tiny, fluffy baby animal cubs with oversized paws and wide innocent eyes. The scene is filled with picnic treats—sandwiches, colorful fruits, and a thermos—scattered across the fabric. Bright sunlight casts soft, short shadows on the lush green grass, with a few wild daisies blooming around the blanket's edge. The art is rendered in a vibrant manga style with clean, expressive linework and a cheerful, saturated palette. Heartwarming and lively.
