What if that person were to become an oni…?

Would they be confused by the sudden transformation? Would they struggle with it? Or would they feel exhilarated by gaining powers beyond those of a human?

The theme of this contest is “Oni Transformation.”

Create a piece that conveys the idea of someone who was originally human becoming an oni. This can be an original character, your own OC, or any other human character you choose.

Rather than simply depicting an oni, try to capture in a single image the emotions and story that arise from the character’s transformation into one.

Anguish, confusion, sadness, joy, exhilaration… The style and setting are entirely up to you. Express “Oni Transformation” through your own interpretation.

We would like to enjoy the stories that can be conveyed through a single image, so please refrain from submitting videos for this contest.
