On the left, the blonde young woman leans forward with both forearms resting against the smooth brushed-steel railing, her weight planted on her forward right foot while her short, feathered golden-blonde locks and single dark hair ribbon flutter in a sea breeze. Her bright amber eyes crinkle with laughter as she turns her head back over her shoulder, her mouth open in a candid, energetic grin. She wears a casual cream-colored sleeveless top cut cleanly at the shoulders, exposing her sun-warmed bare arms. Beside her, the taller brunette woman stands with an easy contrapposto stance, one hip shifted as she rests her left palm against the rail next to the younger woman's elbow. Her long, voluminous chestnut-brown waves cascade over one shoulder, while her face displays meticulously applied makeup: refined winged eyeliner framing her warm brown eyes, a soft wash of warm rose eyeshadow across her lids, and glossy, coral-tinted lipstick defining her poised, gentle smile as she looks down fondly at her companion. She wears a fitted navy-blue sleeveless halter top that leaves her shoulders and arms completely bare. Crisp afternoon sunlight pours from the upper left, casting defined diagonal shadows across the pale deck planks and creating brilliant rim light along the contours of their bare shoulders and stray hair strands. A single bead of condensation slides down the exterior of a clear iced glass held lightly in the brunette's right hand, leaving a clear track against the frosted surface. Warm, bright, and companionable.
