Kamui Gakupo and Megurine Luka had originally been taking a walk along a mountain path. Neither of them could have imagined that the road beneath their feet would suddenly begin to glow with a strange light. “Gakupo……?” Luka had only just turned around when a dazzling white light completely filled her vision. “Luka!” Gakupo instinctively reached out and grabbed her hand. But in the next moment, the ground beneath them disappeared. The sound of wind, the brilliant light, and the sensation of weightlessness all struck them at once. When Luka opened her eyes again, what appeared before her was no longer the familiar street. Towering trees reached toward the sky. Dense grass swayed gently in the breeze, while strange cries of unfamiliar creatures occasionally echoed from somewhere in the distance. Luka slowly sat up, her long pink hair falling over her shoulders. “Where… are we?” Gakupo looked around before slowly standing. “I don't know either.” He walked over to Luka and carefully checked whether she was injured before finally relaxing slightly. “That light earlier… It shouldn't have been an ordinary natural phenomenon.” “Yeah.” Luka also stood up. Just then, a rustling sound came from deep within the grass. Both of them turned toward it. A small creature with pink and white fur cautiously poked its head out from the grass. It had long ears, with blue and white coloring at the tips, while soft ribbon-like feelers hung from the sides of its neck and body. Luka froze for a moment. “So cute…” The Sylveon seemed to notice Luka's gaze. It tilted its head curiously, studying the two strangers. Then, a young woman stepped out from the other side. She had long, silky hair and wore clothing decorated with colors and ornaments reminiscent of Sylveon. Her entire presence carried a gentle and elegant atmosphere. The moment she saw Luka and Gakupo, her eyes immediately lit up. “Who are you?” She quickly approached them. Before Luka could answer, the young woman had already taken her hand. “You aren't from around here, are you?” “Eh?” Luka was slightly startled. But there was no hostility in the girl's expression. Instead, her face was filled with pure curiosity. “Your clothes are so unusual! And your hair… Is it naturally pink?” “Y-Yes…” Luka was a little overwhelmed by the rapid succession of questions, but the girl's straightforward attitude made her smile despite herself. “Then where are you from?” “We…” Luka looked toward Gakupo. Gakupo thought for a moment. “We come from a world completely different from this one.” “Another world?” The girl blinked. “Really?” She seemed even more excited. “Yes.” Gakupo nodded. “We were originally in our own world when a strange light suddenly brought us here.” The girl immediately turned toward the Sylveon. “Felicia, did you hear that? They're from another world!” The Sylveon happily cried out. “Vui!” Her name was Felicia. She looked younger than her sister. Although she had not yet learned how to take human form like her sister, she clearly seemed capable of understanding their conversation. Felicia quickly ran over to Luka and gently rubbed her head against Luka's hand. “She seems curious too.” Luka crouched down and gently stroked Felicia's head. “Hello, Felicia.” “Vui.” Felicia looked up at Luka. Her bright eyes were filled with curiosity. The girl was still holding Luka's hand. “By the way, my name is Sylvia.” She smiled as she introduced herself. “She is my little sister, Felicia.” Sylvia pointed toward the Sylveon beside her. “And that over there is Souen.” Gakupo followed her gaze. A young man stood not far away. His appearance carried the vivid, fiery qualities of Ceruledge, and there was an unmistakable presence about him that resembled the Pokémon itself. His expression was calm and composed. Unlike the excited Sylvia, he had not hurried over from the beginning. He had simply maintained an appropriate distance while quietly observing the two strangers. Sylvia added: “Souen is our guardian.” Souen gave a slight nod. “Nice to meet you. I am Souen.” “Kamui Gakupo.” Gakupo politely returned the greeting. “And this is Megurine Luka.” Luka nodded toward Souen. “Hello.” Souen's gaze rested on the two of them for a moment. After confirming that neither carried any hostility, he calmly spoke. “Welcome to this forest.” Sylvia, however, had already started pulling Luka forward. “Come on!” “Eh? Where are we going?” “Of course, I'm going to show you around!” Sylvia's voice was filled with anticipation. “And I have so many things I want to ask you!” “So many things?” Luka was slightly surprised. “Yeah!” Sylvia nodded. “Do you have Pokémon in your world?” Luka shook her head. “At least in the world we came from, I've never seen a creature like Felicia.” Felicia immediately called out from beside them. “Vui!” Sylvia laughed. “Then there are lots of Pokémon here.” “Lots?” Gakupo also became interested. “So this is known as the world of Pokémon?” “That's right.” As they walked, Sylvia began explaining. She told Luka that this world was home to many different kinds of Pokémon. Some lived in forests, some in mountains, others in rivers and oceans, while some lived alongside humans. Luka listened carefully. “It sounds… like an incredibly mysterious world.” “Right?” Sylvia smiled even more brightly. “So what about your world?” “Our world?” “Yeah! What's it like?” Luka thought for a moment. “There are many cities, music, transportation, and many different kinds of people.” “Music?” Sylvia immediately caught onto the word. “You have music?” “Yes.” Luka nodded. “I like singing.” Sylvia's eyes lit up again. “Singing!” She sounded as though she had discovered something extraordinary. “Then you must be really good!” Luka couldn't help laughing. “I'm not that good.” “But you're someone from another world!” Sylvia was clearly curious about everything. “Do all the people in your world know how to use those strange things? Like things that can light up by themselves, or devices that let people talk to each other even when they're very far apart?” “Do you mean smartphones?” “Exactly!” Luka began explaining what smartphones were used for. Sylvia listened very carefully. Felicia continued following closely beside them. Sometimes she looked up at Luka. Other times she looked toward Gakupo, as though trying her best to understand these two travelers who had suddenly appeared from another world. Meanwhile, Gakupo, walking slightly behind them, looked toward Souen. “Do human travelers usually come through this forest?” “Occasionally, trainers pass through. Some travel toward the nearby towns, while others come into the forest searching for Pokémon.” “Trainers?” “People who travel, battle, or live together with Pokémon.” Gakupo nodded. “I see.” He looked toward Sylvia and Felicia ahead of them. “Then are Sylvia and Felicia also Pokémon?” “Sylvia is the human-form manifestation of a Sylveon.” Souen answered politely. “She has already mastered the ability to take human form.” Gakupo raised his eyebrows slightly. “And Felicia hasn't learned yet?” “That is correct.” Souen looked toward the smaller figure ahead. “She is still learning.” Felicia seemed to hear her own name and immediately turned around. “Vui?” Sylvia turned around as well. “Felicia can't take human form yet, but she'll definitely learn soon.” Felicia proudly puffed out her chest. “Vui!” Luka couldn't help smiling. “She seems very confident.” “Of course.” Sylvia spoke proudly. “She is my little sister.” Gakupo watched the scene, a faint smile appearing on his lips as well. “Then, Souen.” “Yes?” “If we want to return to our own world, is there any way to find clues about how to do that?” Souen was silent for a moment. “If you arrived here because of an abnormal spatial phenomenon, the answer may be connected to legendary Pokémon, special powers, or certain ancient ruins.” Gakupo listened attentively. “So you know of some possible directions?” “It is only a hypothesis at this point.” Souen answered honestly. “I do not wish to give you false hope without evidence.” Gakupo nodded. “I understand. Thank you for answering.” “You're welcome.” Souen gave a slight nod. Up ahead, Sylvia suddenly stopped. Luka stopped with her. The forest before them seemed even more vast than before. An unfamiliar path stretched into the distance, while the calls of Pokémon occasionally echoed from deeper within the forest. Sylvia turned back toward the two of them and smiled brightly. “So, until we find a way to send you home…” She took Luka's hand again. “Why don't you travel with us?” Felicia immediately ran over beside Luka. “Vui!” Luka looked at the sisters standing on either side of her before raising her eyes toward Gakupo. Gakupo met her gaze, a gentle smile in his eyes. “Looks like we have companions for now.” Luka softly nodded. “Yeah.” And so, two people from another world, a Sylveon girl, a Sylveon who had yet to learn human transformation, and a quiet Ceruledge guardian began walking down an unknown path together. None of them knew it yet. This unexpected journey to another world was only the beginning of their adventure.
