Hovering trains roared between towering skyscrapers, while enormous electronic billboards endlessly advertised the latest cybernetic enhancements. "The nights here are certainly lively..." Megurine Luka gazed up at the sky. Her long pink hair swayed gently in the breeze, and her brilliant blue eyes reflected the dazzling lights of the futuristic city. Standing beside her, Kamui Gakupo frowned slightly. "Lively, sure. But don't you think there are far too many advertisements?" "Hehe, don't you find it fascinating?" Luka gently wrapped her arm around his. "Besides, as long as you're here with me, even an unfamiliar city doesn't seem so frightening." Gakupo looked momentarily surprised before giving her a tender smile. "What am I going to do with you?" The two exchanged affectionate smiles, completely unaware that, at the other end of the street, a camera lens had quietly turned toward them. "Hey, Roman! What are you filming this time?" D stood with his hands tucked into the pockets of his blue jacket, leaning over to examine the camera in Roman's hands. "Shh! Keep your voice down!" Roman hurriedly adjusted the focus. "Look over there! Those two!" On the camera's monitor, a purple-haired man was gently fixing the pink-haired woman's bangs after the wind had blown them out of place. The woman smiled and took his hand. Their movements were so natural and affectionate that it seemed as though the chaotic city around them didn't exist. "So what?" D raised an eyebrow. "Don't you think it's amazing?" Roman asked excitedly. "In a place like Night City, there are actually people who can smile so freely, without a care in the world!" "Don't tell me you're planning to make another romance movie." "What's wrong with that?!" Their argument caught Talia's attention. Her pink ponytail swayed as she turned toward them. "What are you two arguing about?" D pointed at Roman. "This guy's secretly filming a couple." "What?!" Talia immediately leaned closer to the camera. After seeing the footage on the screen, she couldn't help laughing. "Oh my, aren't they adorable?" "See?!" Roman said triumphantly. "But you'd better ask their permission before filming them." Talia reached out with her cybernetic hand and lightly tapped Roman on the head. "Yeah, yeah! I know!" "Hahahaha! What's everyone looking at?" A deep, hearty laugh came from behind them. The towering Weak Kingsley approached, carrying a drink. "Did Roman find something interesting to film again?" "A couple of lost lovebirds," D replied lazily. "Oh?" Kingsley glanced toward Gakupo and Luka. At that moment, Gakupo was examining a strange vending machine along the street. "Luka, why does this drink say 'Neural Acceleration Formula'?" "Are you sure that's even a drink?" "I think... it is?" Gakupo reached toward the purchase button. "Wait!" A voice suddenly interrupted him. D quickly stepped forward and stopped his hand. "You're seriously thinking about drinking that stuff?" Gakupo blinked in surprise. "Is there something wrong with it?" D stared at him for two seconds. "...Just what kind of backwater town did you two come from?" Luka chuckled softly. "Well, that's rather a long story." Meanwhile, Roman quietly turned his camera toward the group. Through the lens, D was explaining the dangers of Night City's questionable products to the unfamiliar purple-haired man. Luka was laughing with delight. Talia watched the two strangers with curiosity, while Kingsley raised his drink and enthusiastically joined the conversation. Nobody was deliberately posing. There were no rehearsed lines. Just a group of strangers meeting unexpectedly beneath the neon lights. A smile slowly spread across Roman's face. "This is it..." He whispered to himself. "This is exactly what I want to capture." A few minutes later, the six of them arrived at a small ramen stall by the roadside. Gakupo sat beside Luka, enthusiastically telling everyone about their homeland. "So, you two are singers?" Talia asked in surprise. "That's right," Luka answered with a smile. "And Gakupo has a wonderful singing voice." "Luka, why are you suddenly bringing that up...?" "Because it's true." D immediately gave him a mischievous grin. "Oh? Then how about giving us a little performance?" "Hey!" Before Gakupo could refuse, Kingsley gave him a hearty pat on the shoulder. "Hahaha! Come on, sing something! Night City never runs out of audiences!" "You people..." Gakupo sighed helplessly and rubbed his forehead. But Luka leaned closer and whispered into his ear. "Why don't we sing together?" Hearing those words, Gakupo finally smiled. "All right. As long as you're singing with me." Just as they were about to begin, Roman lifted his camera again. This time, Luka noticed him. "Hm? Have you been filming us this whole time?" Roman immediately froze. "Uh... well..." He awkwardly lowered his camera. "I'm sorry! You all looked like you were having such a good time that I couldn't resist filming." Gakupo glanced at the camera in his hands. "I see." Roman scratched his head nervously. "If you don't like it, I can delete the footage." Luka and Gakupo exchanged a glance. Then Luka gave him a gentle smile. "There's no need for that." She softly took Gakupo's hand. "But next time, please ask us first, okay?" "Wait, really?! You're letting me film?!" Roman's eyes lit up. "Of course," Gakupo replied with a smile. "But there's one condition." "What condition?" "You have to enjoy tonight with us, too." Roman blinked in surprise. Before he could respond, D threw an arm around his shoulders. "You hear that, Mr. Director?" Talia laughed and raised her drink. "Then let's make a toast to our new friends!" "Cheers!" Their laughter filled the little ramen stall. Roman placed his camera on the edge of the table, set it to record, and, for the first time that evening, willingly stepped into the frame himself. In the recording, Gakupo was gently wiping a small drop of broth from the corner of Luka's mouth. D and Talia were arguing over the last grilled skewer. Kingsley was laughing heartily.
