character: princess_peach, mario 2girls, 1boy, princess peach, mario, sitting on lap, sitting on couch, couch, indoor, blonde hair, long hair, flowing hair, blue eyes, blush, bright pink dress, ball gown, floor-length dress, puffed sleeves, short sleeves, white pantyhose, magenta trim, panniers, blue brooch, pink high heels, golden crown, tiara, red jewel, blue jewel, white opera gloves, elbow-length gloves, blue earrings, short, portly, large nose, round nose, black mustache, thick mustache, red cap, white circle, "M", crimson shirt, royal blue overalls, gold buttons, white gloves, brown boots, smiling, looking at viewer, from below, cowboy shot, warm interior light The camera sits low, looking slightly up at the two of them from the foot of the couch. The couch is a deep-cushioned, warm-toned velvet sofa, and it fills the midground; behind it, a plain cream wall and a soft warm cast of lamplight keep the background simple so the pair commands the frame. Princess Peach is seated first, centered on the cushions, hips settled deep into the seat, back relaxed against the backrest, one leg angled out from under the other so the floor-length bright pink ball gown fans over the cushion edge in a heavy satin fall; the dark pink and magenta panniers bunch at her hips where the gown is compressed by weight. Her white pantyhose show only at the ankle above one pink high heel planted flat on the floor, the other heel tucked back beneath the hem. Her white elbow-length opera gloves run to mid-forearm, the gloved hands resting loosely, one on the couch arm, one at her side near her lap. Her blonde hair flows long past her shoulders, some of it spilling forward over the puffed short sleeve; the golden tiara with red and blue jewels sits firmly on her crown, and small blue earrings catch the light at each earlobe. The blue gemstone brooch is pinned square at her chest, above the gown's bodice. Her blush is soft and rosy high on her cheeks, her blue eyes warm and expressive, her lips curved into a gentle smile aimed down at the man on her lap. Mario sits square on her lap, his short, portly body settled against the front of her gown, his back to her chest; his weight pushes a shallow dent into the satin under him and tilts her knees slightly wider. His brown work boots dangle clear of the floor, inches above the carpet, and one white-gloved hand braces on her knee for balance while the other rests on his own thigh. His crimson-red shirt sits beneath the royal blue overalls, the straps over his shoulders, the yellow-gold buttons bright against the blue; the thick black mustache covers his upper lip, his large round nose catches the lamplight, and his blue eyes look up and sideways into her face, bright with an easy, delighted grin. His red cap is turned so the white circle at the front clearly shows the red "M", the letter crisp and undistorted, riding on the curved fabric of the cap. The single warm lamp is off to the left, so the light wraps the left side of Peach's face and gown and leaves soft shadow down Mario's right side and into the crease between them; their joined shadow falls across the cushions to the right. The palette holds to bright pink and magenta, crimson and royal blue, cream and gold. Warm, fond, and gently playful.
