character: ib_(ib), copyright: ib_(kouri) 1girl, solo, ib_(ib), brown hair, long hair, red eyes, wide-open eyes, small pupils, constricted pupils, yandere, crazed grin, open-mouth smile, teeth visible, holding own face, both hands on own cheeks, fingers pressing into cheeks, fingertips digging into skin, head tilt, upper body, close-up, from above, dutch angle, white shirt, long sleeves, red ribbon at collar, red skirt, indoor, dim hallway, single light source, warm amber light from below, heavy shadow, claustrophobic The camera looks down at her from above and slightly off-axis, tilted a few degrees so the corridor's vertical lines lean; the frame is a tight close-up cropped at the shoulders, and the single figure fills most of it, tilted back so the chin lifts toward the lens while the top of her head sits low in the frame. Both of her hands are clamped to her own face: the heels of the palms press against her jaw, fingers splayed up across both cheeks so the fingertips dent the soft skin and push it into small ridges, the thumbs hooked under her cheekbones, and the pressure drags her lower eyelids down a fraction. Her mouth is wide open in a crazed grin, upper teeth bared and the corners of the lips pulled back hard, a thread of breath caught in the opening. Her eyes are stretched wide with the whites showing all around, and inside them the pupils have shrunk to two hard black pinpoints aimed straight up into the lens, unblinking. Long brown hair falls in heavy strands past her shoulders, a few locks caught between her fingers where they press her cheeks, the rest sliding down out of the crop. A white long-sleeved shirt with a red ribbon knotted at the collar and a red skirt fill the little body visible below the jaw; the cloth is in shadow, her face is not. She stands with her weight rocked back on her heels, shoulders hunched up around her ears, one shoulder higher than the other, so the whole pose reads as a body straining toward the viewer while the head pushes back. The setting is a narrow interior corridor, walls falling away into darkness on both sides with a fog of shadow that swallows the background entirely; a warm amber lamp sits low and out of frame, so the light climbs the underside of her chin, her jaw, her open mouth and the fingers on her cheeks, and throws a large hard-edged shadow of her hands and hair up the wall behind her. Beyond that pool of lamplight the darkness is absolute. The palette holds only amber, deep brown, the white of the shirt and the red of ribbon and skirt, nothing else admitted. Skin texture is rendered with subtle pore and pressure detail where her own fingers dig in, and the whites of her eyes catch one small hard highlight each. Obsessive, unhinged.
