More to See

2boys, male focus, standing side by side, cemetery, night, graveyard, tombstones, headstones, bare trees, wrought iron fence, full moon behind clouds, two men, left figure: pale skin, red hair, shoulder-length hair, mullet, messy hair, red eyes, punk clothes, torn black band tee, leather jacket, ripped jeans, studded belt, boots, holding electric guitar, guitar strap across chest, right figure: vampire, male, pale skin, long white hair, very long bangs, red eyes, fangs, handsome, beautiful, lean muscular, tall, prince, regal, cold expression, serious, hand on own hip, rings, silver rings, vampire suit, gothic aristocratic coat, high collar, cravat, black and deep crimson, gothic sword at hip, sheathed sword, ornate hilt, from below, wide shot, dutch angle, looking at viewer, night, moonlight, cool blue moonlight, rim light, dark palette, anime style, clean linework, muted colors, subtle gradients The camera sits low and looks up at both men, tilted slightly on the diagonal so the headstones lean and the moon rides off-center high behind them — the two stand shoulder to shoulder on a gravel path, Lucien filling the right half of the frame and Kai the left, a hand's width of cold air between their outer shoulders. Lucien stands taller and squarer: weight settled on his back right leg, hip cocked out, his left hand planted flat on that hip with the fingers spread and four silver rings catching a thin hard glint along their edges, the knuckles pushed forward; his right arm hangs loose, the fingertips of that hand resting on the pommel of a long gothic sword slung at his right hip in a black scabbard, the ornate guard a cluster of thorned silver. He wears a high-collared aristocratic vampire coat in near-black wool with deep crimson lining turned out at the cuffs, a pale cravat knotted at the throat, a fitted dark waistcoat and tall boots, the fabric drawn taut over a lean muscular chest and shoulders. His white hair falls well past his shoulder blades in heavy straight sheets, and his very long bangs drop in a blunt pale curtain past his eyes to his cheekbones, splitting to show one narrow slit of glowing red iris; the mouth is flat and closed, the jaw set, the chin lifted a fraction in cold appraisal as he stares straight down the lens past the viewer. Beside him Kai is a head shorter and visibly looser, weight spilled onto his left leg with the right knee bent, shoulders hunched forward around the black electric guitar he holds across his body — his left hand wraps the maple neck just under the headstock, fingers curled on the frets, while his right palm rests flat over the humbuckers, thumb hooked on a string; the guitar's lower bout presses into his right hip and the strap cuts diagonally over his black leather jacket. Under the jacket: a torn band tee, a studded belt, ripped dark jeans broken over scuffed boots. His red hair is a true mullet, chopped ragged and short over the ears and temples, spiky at the crown, and left long and shaggy down his neck; loose strands fall across his pale forehead. His red eyes are wider and hotter than Lucien's, fixed on the same point in the lens with the beginnings of a crooked, challenging half-grin pulling one corner of his mouth. The only light is the moon above and behind them: it lays a cool blue-white rim down the outer edge of Lucien's white hair, along the shoulder line of his coat, and down the neck of Kai's guitar, while their faces stay in a soft half-shadow lit only by the faint upwash off the gravel; the deep sockets of their eyes retain their red glow as the one warm note in the frame. Their cast shadows fall forward toward the viewer across the path, and the moon-chalked tops of the headstones are pale while their inscriptions are lost in darkness; a low ground mist pools around the bases of the stones and thins where their boots break it. Palette is restricted to cold blue-grey stone and night sky, near-black and deep crimson on Lucien, black leather and dull chrome on Kai's guitar and belt, the red of Kai's hair and both pairs of eyes the sole saturated accents. The empty space above them holds the tilted moon and bare branch silhouettes. Quiet, cold, watchful.
