1girl, solo, ancient chinese imperial concubine, long black hair, disheveled black hair, loose strands stuck to cheek, tattered hanfu, torn silk hanfu, frayed hem, dirt-stained fabric, ripped sleeve, loose white cloth socks, dirty white cloth socks, baggy cloth socks, grimy cloth wrappings, sitting, sitting on straw, dungeon straw, legs stretched out, extended legs, bare thighs, masturbating, hand between legs, fingers between thighs, giant wooden cangue, feet locked in wooden cangue, massive wooden pillory, ankles through wooden holes, dripping wax, hot wax, candle wax drips, wax pooling on cloth socks, melted wax strings, feces piled on socks, brown filth caked on cloth, defiled socks, dungeon, stone cell, iron ring in wall, torchlight, low warm key light, half-closed eyes, parted lips, blush, trembling, heavy breathing, sweat, clenched teeth, straining arms, head tilted back, looking up, adult, from below, close-up on lower body and face, wide shot, dramatic shadow, traditional chinese historical aesthetic, realistic worn fabric texture, organic grime, oppressive heat, humiliating From a low, tilted angle just above the straw-strewn dungeon floor, the black-haired concubine is seen sitting with her weight sunk back on her left hip and both legs thrust straight out across the stone. Her tattered hanfu, once imperial silk, is torn at the shoulder and ripped open along the thigh, the frayed hem dragging through the straw; dirt has settled into every fold. Her long black hair hangs loose and matted, a few strands stuck to her damp cheek and throat. Her right hand is buried between her bare thighs, fingers working; her left arm braces hard against the floor, wrist bent, knuckles white. Beneath her, the dungeon floor is a rough grid of stone slabs and strewn yellow straw; behind her, a low stone wall with a rusted iron ring set into it disappears into shadow. Her extended legs end in a massive wooden cangue, a crude pillory laid flat across the floor with her feet through its two holes; the rough timber, splintered and stained, pins her ankles in place so her legs cannot draw back. Around her feet the big, loose white cloth socks sag at the calf, dirty with grime and dark gray at the toes. A heavy iron ring is lagged to the top of the cangue, and from it, set high above her, a single jointed arm lets fall a slow, steady drip of hot wax. Each drop falls the height of a person and lands sizzling on the stretched sock cloth, where the wax spreads into a glossy pale-yellow patch, already successive overlapping disks climbing the sock; where it has cooled the wax is dull and slightly darker, and each new drop sits in the cup of the old. Beside it, a pile of feces has been smeared across the cloth and the wooden frame, a mass of brown filth caked into the weave. Her face is tilted back and up toward the dripping arm, eyes half closed, lips parted, breath ragged, sweat beading at her temple and at the hollow of her throat; a faint blush sits high on her cheeks. The only light is a low, warm torchlight from the left, raking across the straw and the wood, throwing her shadow long to the right and leaving the back of the cell in absolute darkness. Palette: straw yellow, iron gray, raw wood brown, the dirty white of the cloth, and the wet amber of the wax. Oppressive, humiliating heat.
