character: alder_(pokemon), larvesta, copyright: pokemon two subjects, child, larvesta, alder's larvesta, pokemon (creature), small white-haired larva pokemon, five red horn nubs, blue eyes, white fluffy hair over one eye, held in arms, hugging, cheek against its head, long orange-and-red hair, two-tone hair, spiked ponytail tied high with a hair tie, open-mouthed grin, one eye closed, looking at the pokemon, pokemon-style art, cel shading, clean bold linework, flat saturated colour, from side, cowboy shot, profile, outdoors, sunny, warm afternoon, meadow, low angle, dutch angle, depth of field From the side, in profile at a low, slightly tilted angle, a small child holds a larva-like pokemon against his chest in a sunlit meadow. The child is seen in profile facing frame left: long, spiked hair in two tones, orange at the crown falling into red at the ends, gathered into a high ponytail with a hair tie so the tips float out behind his head in the warm air. His chin is a child's rounded chin, clean and bare, and his profile is turned down toward the creature. Both arms are wrapped under and around the white-haired pokemon, his forearms crossed beneath it, hands closed over its soft underside; the pokemon's head rests against the side of his chest and cheek, its fluffy white hair spilling up over one of its own eyes. The boy's cheek presses into the top of its head, so his mouth is squeezed into a wide open-mouthed grin, one eye on the near side shut in a crescent, the other eye visible past the bridge of his nose looking straight down at it. The pokemon's blue eyes stay open, looking up at him. Its five red horn nubs curve up and out around his jaw, catching the sun; the one nearest his ear throws a short hard shadow across his cheek, and the soft fuzz of its white hair shows backlit rim along the top edge where the sun rakes from frame left. Both stand on grass at ankle height; the boy's weight is on his back leg, the front foot turned out, knees slightly bent, his shadow and the pokemon's merged into one short dark shape cast right across the grass. Behind them the meadow falls out of focus into a low bank of golden-green and pale sky; a few tall seed heads in the foreground are out of focus and cross the bottom of the frame. The light is a single warm sun from the left, low but not sunset, warm gold on hair, horns and the tops of the grasses, cool blue shadow on the undersides; the palette is orange-red, cream-white, warm green and sky blue, red concentrated in the hair ends and the horn nubs. Pokemon-style anime art: clean bold cel outlines, flat saturated fills, two-tone cel shading with a single hard shadow edge, no grain, no painterly texture. Tender, sunlit.

character: axew, iris_(pokemon), copyright: pokemon 2girls, 1girl, 1pokemon, iris_(pokemon), axew, child, dark skin, child iris, very long dark purple hair, low-tied long hair, floating hair strands rising at the crown, brown eyes, long eyelashes, v-neck shirt, pink skirt, small tiara on the crown of her head, bare feet, crouching, knees bent wide, leaning far forward, hands on knees, looking down, looking at another, open-mouth grin, :d, one eyebrow raised, head tilt, from below, low angle, foreshortening, axew, small dragon pokemon, pale green body, pink hair tuft on the head, big red eyes, short stubby arms, thick tail, standing on tiptoes, arms up, reaching up toward her face, mouth open, wide-eyed, forest clearing, dirt path, dappled light, tall trees, tag run anchor Seen from a low angle close to the ground, the camera tilts up so the girl crouches huge in the foreground and the little dragon pokemon pushes up toward her on his hind feet. The girl in a v-neck shirt and pink skirt is folded down onto her heels, both knees splayed, both palms braced flat on her knees, spine leaning far forward so her face hangs over the pokemon. Her very long dark purple hair is tied low at the nape; loose strands lift and float outward at the crown, drifting up and away from her shoulders as if the air itself is stirred. A small tiara sits on the crown of her head, its points catching light among the floating strands. Her bare toes grip the packed earth, one heel slightly lifted for balance. Her brown eyes, lashes lowered a little, look down at the pokemon, and one brow is arched high while her mouth opens into a wide delighted grin. The pale green dragon pokemon stands at the tips of his stubby toes directly beneath her chin, his thick body tipped back, both short arms reaching straight up toward her face, pink tuft of head hair flicked up by the effort, his mouth wide open and his red eyes huge and fixed on her mouth. Light comes from high behind the trees on the right, warm and broken, so dappled patches of sun strike the floating hair, the tiara points and the top of the pokemon's head while the girl's shadow falls forward and cools the ground beneath them, and the underbrush beyond stays in soft green darkness. His tail braces behind him for balance and carves a shallow curved groove in the loose dirt path, dust lifting where it drags. Sun flecks travel down the strands of her floating hair only where the canopy breaks above them. The palette is forest green, the deep violet of her hair and the warm earth browns, with the tiara's gold as the single glinting accent. Dappled, sunlit, tender.

character: ralts, diantha_(pokemon), copyright: pokemon child, ralts, kirlia, 2girls, from below, close-up, dutch angle, kneeling, offering, holding out, looking at another, wide-eyed, open mouth, blush, small child-sized body, short brown hair, hair between eyes, blue eyes, long eyelashes, white shirt, short sleeves, white shorts, white coat, earrings, nail polish, green hair, bowl cut, bob cut, blunt bangs, sidelocks, hair over one eye, pink eyes, green head, white body, red horn, white dress, half-closed eyes, hand on another's head, headpat, tender The camera sits low and close, tilted a few degrees off level, looking up at a small girl from just below her chin height. She crouches on one knee on a seamless, empty soft pale-grey studio ground that stretches with no horizon and no props; the empty field is the whole environment, and all detail goes to the two figures. Her weight rests on the right knee, the left foot planted flat in front of it, the white shorts creased behind the knee by the fold of the crouch; her torso leans forward and slightly to her right, so the short-sleeved white shirt pulls at one shoulder and the unbuttoned white coat slides back off both shoulders in a heavy white fold that hangs away from her arms rather than draping symmetrically. Her short brown hair swings forward as she tips her head down toward the small pokemon, a strand falling between her eyes; her blue eyes, long lashes lowered at the outer corners, rest on the pokemon, and one brow is lifted so the look reads as a soft, curious welcome rather than a stare. Her left arm reaches down and her palm lands flat and gentle on the crown of the pokemon's green bowl-cut, the fingers just sinking into the blunt bangs; her nails are painted a pale varnished pink and catch a small hard highlight; her earrings hang still. Her right hand rests loose on her own raised knee, fingertips off the fabric. In front of her feet, a tiny white-bodied figure stands at just under the height of her bent knee, its green head and its single red horn tilted up towards her face; the bob cut's sidelocks and the long bangs falling over one eye are pushed aside on the other side so one pink eye is fully visible looking up into her eyes, the edge of its white dress flaring slightly where the body has turned and the little feet are planted close together, its whole posture tipped back on its heels to look up. Under the low camera the girl's white coat and white shirt form a bright mass against the pale ground, the only saturated colour in the whole frame sits in the pokemon's green head, its red horn and the girl's pale pink nails and lips, with the remaining tones all cool neutral whites, greys and warm skin. A single large soft studio source comes from above and slightly behind the pokemon's left, so the girl's face is lit from below and to her right with a soft shadow under her nose and chin, the pokemon's red horn throws a tiny hard-cast shadow on the floor at the girl's knee, and the coat's outer fold falls into a cool grey, its underside darker than the lit top surface. A second tiny figure in a small green-and-white dress — a Round creature with a green bob, flat white body, and a red horn — stands just behind the crouching child's right knee, partly hidden by the edge of the white coat; it reaches out one stubby little arm and places its hand on the crouching child's shoulder, its red horn catching the light, its head turned and tilted up toward the child. Both of the standing pokemon hold their bodies still and turned up at the child, the crouching child's eyes falling toward the pokemon's forehead, the whole face softened by a faint closed-lip smile. Tender, warm.
