Nekomata Okayu's Relaxing Water Retreat

I've always been captivated by Okayu's laid-back charm, and this scene of her floating in the water perfectly captures that soothing vibe. The way her purple hair and cute cat ears look in this soft lighting just makes me love her design even more. If this brings a smile to your face too, please give it a like and follow for more! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

She is angled diagonally across the frame, caught mid-stroke as she paddles forward in a relaxed breaststroke. Her chest and shoulders rise comfortably above the surface of the viscous white congee, her left arm reaching ahead to gently part the velvety broth while her right hand pulls smoothly beside her hip. Arching gracefully out of the porridge behind her, two fluffy lavender cat tails rise high into the air, their tips flicking in rhythmic contentment. Her head tilts upward toward the camera with a sleepy, affectionate expression: half-closed tareme violet eyes, a slight feline grin showing a tiny corner fang, and a soft petal-pink blush across her cheeks and nose. Slender white fluff fills the insides of her upright cat ears, and a lone bouncy ahoge stands out atop her short, chin-length purple hair, with soft bangs resting between her eyes. She wears an oversized white hoodie with a black inner collar and wide sleeves bunched around her elbows; the lower fabric is soaked and clings to her body beneath the milky surface, while the hood rests loosely bunched at her nape. The porridge sea extends to an endless horizon, undulating with thick, rounded swells rather than sharp waves; because of the starchy viscosity of the liquid, her movement creates slow, glossy, heavy ripples where individual glistening grains of softened white rice gather along the smooth surface contours. Wisps of translucent warm steam curl lazily off the surface into a pastel dreamscape sky filled with soft apricot and pale lilac clouds. The scene is illuminated by a diffused, warm overhead dreamlight that casts muted lavender shadows in the porridge folds, with a gentle golden rim light catching the edges of the rising steam and the fuzz of her ears and twin tails. Cozy euphoria, surreal whimsy.
