Ashenbound Protocol — Original Synopsis In 2021, humanity is nearly wiped out by a parasitic plague known as Astraea, a crystalline organism that infects living beings and mutates them into monstrous forms called Wraithspawn. Entire nations fall within months. To survive, humanity retreats behind colossal Aegis Walls, forged from Noctium, a rare metal capable of suppressing Astraea’s growth. But Noctium has a strange side effect. Children born with trace Astraea contamination — yet not consumed by it — develop superhuman abilities. Enhanced strength, reflexes, perception, and elemental talents. All of them are girls. All of them feared. They are called Starborn. To control and protect them, the surviving governments establish The Ashenbound Protocol, forming elite pairs: - Initiators — Starborn girls with combat abilities - Promoters — human commanders who guide and restrain them Together, these pairs form Aegis Security Units, the only force capable of fighting Wraithspawn outside the walls.
