Kaname Madoka AKA the Good Samaritan

This is an image of Kaname Madoka, the star character of the Puella Magi Madoka Magika series of dark magical girl anime and light novels. In the universe of The End of the Circus, she was the first "rescuee" recruit to the anti-Puella Magi force of metahumans formed by Tomoe Mami (Travestire); when she was Gifted, she became the Noble Neighbour, the Good Samaritan (in Yizibajohei, Tuo Ramnisei). This made her a high-level FISS-type with added projection empathic powers; while this doesn't make Madoka the equal of Saeru Hinako (Suiki), her Tehuo-ba ("Hope Wave") attack does allow the Mitakihara-jin the chance to destroy eldritch witches and cleanse grief seeds. In rescuing Akemi Homura (who would later be Gifted as Vormund, a powerful telekinetic who could entrap disembodied spirits like eldritch witches), Madoka also helped Mami see to it that the witch who had targeted Homure be restored to true humanity, becoming Izabel Monvoisin in civilian life and Peintre (a being who can animate any image she touches) when she wears the battle suit. With this, the core of a movement which would sweep across Japan seeking out would-be Puella Magi and saving them from the Incubators (and their clients, a race of empathic vampires known as the Sidines) and being doomed to eternal despair.
