A cinematic wide interior shot from the side of the car, capturing both occupants from the waist up. In the passenger seat, a petite young Japanese woman with a short purple bob and blunt straight bangs is dozing; her head is tilted heavily toward the window, her eyelids closed, and her expression soft and unguarded in deep fatigue. She wears a simple white bikini under a thin, light-colored hooded parka that hangs open. In the driver's seat, a tall, rugged man in his mid-twenties with wavy light brown hair and an oversized T-shirt is frozen mid-motion; his right hand rests heavily on the gear shift, hesitating, while his head is turned to gaze at her sleeping profile with a conflicted, tender, and earnest expression. Outside the glass, the deep blue of a midnight highway rest area is absolute, with the car parked in a dim, deserted corner far from the distant, glowing service building. Sparse, warm amber light from far-off lamps leaks through the windows, casting faint reflections on the windshield and illuminating the dust motes in the air. The engine's idling vibration is felt in the slight blur of the rearview mirror. Quietly suspenseful yet gentle.
