4koma, comic, vertical strip, multiple panels, 1girl, full color, futon, pillow, pajamas, smartphone, holding phone, screen glow, dark room, night, morning sunlight, speech bubble, expression change, sequence, humor, tired, dark circles under eyes A vertically oriented four-panel full-color manga strip (4-koma) composed of four stacked rectangular panels with clean black borders against a white gutter background, depicting the endless pre-sleep smartphone cycle in vibrant cel-shaded color. Panel 1 (top): Inside a dim nighttime bedroom illuminated solely by the cool blue light of a mobile screen. A young woman with messy brown hair in a loose pajama shirt lies comfortably on her side tucked inside a warm duvet on a floor futon. She cradles her smartphone with both hands, gazing into the lit display with half-lidded, blissfully relaxed eyes and a lazy smile. A smooth white speech bubble near her head reads "あと5分だけ…". Panel 2 (second panel): Sudden comic escalation. The room remains dark, but high-contrast manga shocklines radiate from the center. The girl sits bolt upright, clutching the smartphone close to her nose with wide, pupil-shrunk eyes and comedic sweat drops beading down her temple. Her mouth drops open in sheer panic as the screen prominently shows one full hour has vanished. A jagged, spiky speech bubble erupts above her reading "寝なきゃ！". Panel 3 (third panel): The failed resolution. The smartphone lies placed screen-down on the tatami beside the pillow. The girl is curled beneath the duvet with her brow furrowed in fierce determination, squeezing both eyes shut to force sleep. However, one eyelid peels open in a tense, sideways peek directed straight at the abandoned phone, her fingers slowly creeping out from the blanket's edge to reach back for it in guilty restlessness. Panel 4 (bottom): The ironic loop. Warm, bright morning sunlight cuts horizontally across the bedroom through window slats, filling the space with golden daylight and dust motes. The girl has collapsed back into the exact identical lying pose from Panel 1, held under the futon with both hands clasping the glowing phone. Her face now carries sunken purple fatigue rings under hollow, exhausted eyes and an open, groggy mouth, completely sleep-deprived as a soft, trembling speech bubble above her reads "あと5分…". Relatable comic irony.
