Through the dual tinted rectangular lenses, an active see-through x-ray effect renders the girl's clothing semi-transparent: inside the boundary of the glass, her zipped green track jacket and white pleated skirt fade into sheer, ghostly outlines, visibly revealing the solid black compression bike shorts she wears beneath her skirt and a fitted white athletic tank top against her torso, accented by faint luminous cyan scanning reticles across the cloth. Outside the perimeter of the lenses, her attire remains completely opaque, solid, and ordinary, showing the vibrant green fabric, brass zipper, and crisp white pleats of her uniform skirt. Standing two steps away, the girl balances her weight on one foot, resting one hand against her hip and leaning slightly forward mid-speech, her short light-brown bob cut shifting with her movement. Her warm brown eyes look directly into the wearer's gaze with a cheerful, oblivious smile, eyebrows arched in mild curiosity, completely unaware of the glasses' see-through function. The scene takes place in a Japanese high school hallway lined with wooden floorboards and closed classroom doors, where low-angled afternoon sunlight streams through expansive windows on the left, casting sharp diagonal quadrilaterals of warm golden light across the floor. Along the beveled glass edge of the spectacles, the straight perspective lines of the corridor visibly refract and shift by a few degrees. Playful suspense.
