The rails run dead straight to the vanishing point, sleepers half-buried in drifted sand, a plume of pale dust boiling up behind the last car and settling along the track. The light is a hard late-afternoon sun low on the right, raking across the armor so every plate edge throws a long shadow to the left and the turret barrels cast parallel bars across the car sides; the sky above is a dusty ochre grading to a pale scorched white at the horizon, with no cloud detail beyond haze. Linework stays bold and clean throughout, heavy black contour on every armor edge and turret, flat cel shadow shapes, crisp hard-edged highlights. A thin veil of sand streams off the barrier plates of the lead car, blowing sideways with the train's motion. Bleak, monumental.
