character: kei_(blue_archive), copyright: blue_archive 1girl, solo, kei \(blue_archive\), very long silver hair, long hair between eyes, hair between eyes, red eyes, ringed eyes, black hairband, black bow, arms crossed, blush, angry, furrowed brow, glaring, revealing clothing, cheongsam, sleeveless, high slit, side slit, gold embroidery, dragon embroidery, Chinese-style window, window, indoor, from below, cowboy shot, dutch angle, looking down at viewer, The camera sits low and tilted, looking up from below the window sill so the whole of the frame leans a few degrees off level; the girl stands square on to the lens in a cowboy shot cropped at mid-thigh, arms folded tight across her chest. The black bow is pinned at the crown of her head above the hairband, its loops cocked to the left, and the tail of it trails down into the long silver hair that falls past her waist and spills in a straight, heavy sheet over her folded forearms. Her red ringed eyes stare down at the viewer under a hard, pinched brow, and a hot blush blooms across both cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Both arms are folded with the forearms overlapping under her bust, the right forearm laid over the left, and the fingers of her right hand clamp around her own left upper arm and press a soft dimple into the sleeve edge; her weight sits back on her left hip with the right knee bent, so her shoulder line is a hard diagonal against the tilt of the frame. Her garment is a sleeveless cheongsam cut high and narrow under the arms and open at the throat, in deep black silk, with a slit rising past her right hip; it is cut close through the ribs and flares loose below the waist. Gold embroidery covers the chest, the slit and one sleeve panel, and above her left breast the gold thread works a coiled dragon, its body following the curve of the fabric over her ribs and its horned head turning up toward the neckline with a claw reaching into the shoulder seam. The thread catches the light in tight, glossy ridges while the black silk between it stays dead matte, so the gold reads only where the angle throws it; along the lower hem the same thread breaks into small repeated cloud scrolls. Behind her, a Chinese-style window fills the upper half of the frame: a dark wooden lattice divided into square and diamond panes with a band of carved floating cloud scrolls across the top, three round coin-shaped muntins at the intersections, and windowsill boards worn smooth at their upper edges. Dust and fine grit have settled along the topmost horizontal members of the lattice, no place else. Cool pale light comes through the lattice from behind her, throwing a soft crosshatch of pane-shaped shadow onto the far floor and rimming the edges of her hair in cool white; the warm blush and the gold thread are the only warm tones in the frame, against her silver hair, the black silk, the dark wood and the cold light. Cold, proud, beautiful.
