She balances on the ball of her left foot with the right foot lifted and tucked slightly behind the left ankle, toes pointed, so her hips cant to one side and her whole body settles into a shallow S-curve; her left hand rests flat on the crest of her jutting hip, fingers spread against warm skin, while her right arm hangs loose with the fingertips brushing the outside of her thigh. Her chin is tipped down toward the lens, eyes meeting the viewer over the top of a small closed-mouth smile that pulls one corner a fraction higher than the other. Her hair is a soft warm brown cut to shoulder length, and the sea wind lifts the ends away from her jaw on one side so the strands swing out and trail toward the left of frame; two large tapered furred ears rise through the hair from the crown, their inner surface pale cream fur, twitching very slightly against the breeze, and a thick cream-tipped brown tail curves out behind her hip, fur ruffled and pushed sideways by the wind, the tip bobbing clear of her leg. A pair of sunglasses with thin dark lenses is pushed up onto her forehead, resting in the hairline with the arms tucked back through the strands and one lens slanted a little higher than the other. In her right ear a row of three small gold hoop earrings hangs along the lobe, standing away from the skin so the light passes through each ring in turn, and each hoop throws its own tiny arc of shadow onto the shell of her ear. A transparent white halter bikini is the whole of her outfit, the fabric a thin gauzy mesh so sheer that the beach behind it reads through it in muted colour; the neck strap is a single slim string tied behind her neck and the two small triangular cups sit barely over her small, underdeveloped breasts, the sheer mesh exposing the shape of them rather than covering it, the lower edges riding almost at the sides of her ribcage. The bottom is a string tie worn extremely low, resting across the front of her thighs well below the hip bones, the thin waist band cutting a horizontal line across her upper legs and the small sheer front panel dipping between them; wet sand grains cling to the sole of her planted foot and a little damp clings along her shin from the retreating surf. At her navel a small polished metallic blue curved barbell sits through the skin, one blue bead catching the highlight and a second smaller one just visible beneath the rim. Behind her the sea runs a flat pale turquoise into a soft white haze, small waves breaking in lounging lines, and the sand is a wet bronze sheen with a few dry ridges further back; the sky is a high pale blue with the sun tilted low behind her right shoulder, so the light comes raking across the frame, rimming the windblown ends of her hair and the fur of her ears and tail with warm white gold while the front of her body falls into a gentler open shade filled by the pale bounce coming up off the sand. Her cast shadow stretches to the left of frame, sharpest at her ankle and softening into a long blurred smear where it runs out over the wet ground, and where her planted foot presses the sand, a small dark depression with a bright line of water seeping into it marks the weight she is putting there. The shadows of the three gold hoops repeat on her ear as perfect little rings; her shadow and the tail's shadow run parallel and never touch. Palette of turquoise, wet bronze sand, warm brown and cream fur, and the bare white gauze of the halter, all lit by one low sun. Effortlessly bright and sun-soaked.
