character: king_dedede, waddle_dee, kirby, copyright: kirby_(series) 5 characters, king dedede, 4 waddle dees, carrying, lifting, waddle dees straining, from below, low angle, dutch angle, tilted frame, wide shot, full body, outdoors, castle courtyard, stone flagstones, midday, hard sunlight, long cast shadows, sweat, motion lines, comedic struggle, open mouth, clenched teeth, one eye, round body, orange body, yellow feet, small stature, blonde hair, red robe, patterned robe, blue goggles, penguin-like beak, large belly, arms spread, legs dangling, royal, red and gold palette, bright sky, fluffy white clouds The camera sits low and close to the flagstones, tilted a few degrees off level, looking up so the four small carriers and their enormous passenger tower against a bright midday sky. At the center of the frame, King Dedede is being hoisted overhead: a big round-bodied penguin-like king with a broad pale-yellow beak, blue goggles pushed up on his forehead, a heavy belly, and a red patterned royal robe with long sleeves that bunches and swings from his spread arms. His blonde-and-red two-tone hair and the star ornament at his crown flop sideways as he is lifted, and both his short legs dangle and kick, claws open, the robe hem sagging toward the carriers' heads. Beneath him, four identical small Waddle Dees stand in a tight ring, each one gripping a corner of the raised platform of Dedede's bulk with both stubby orange arms braced overhead. Each ball-shaped orange body leans back and in, heels dug into the stone, feet splayed flat, the four of them bending into a slight outward fan like the legs of a stool. Their single eyes squeeze half-shut with effort, mouths open in panting strain, sweat beads flicking off their rounded tops and hanging on their brows. Their bodies tremble visibly; the closest one's arms shake and its feet skid an inch, leaving two short pale scuff marks across the flagstone. The low sun is high but slightly off to the right, so every figure throws a short, hard shadow to the left across the courtyard stones, and the four Dees' shadows tangle into one dark mass beneath the hanging king. Dust puffs from the flagstone seams where feet scrape. Behind them, honey-colored stone walls of a castle courtyard with a low crenellated ledge, a couple of spear-like banners limp in still air, and above, a vivid blue sky with a scatter of white clouds. Palette is built on warm honey stone, orange bodies, crimson-and-gold royal robe, and the cool sky above. Deliberately comic, straining, sun-bright.
