character: shihouin_yoruichi, artist: kubo_tite 1girl, solo, dark skin, dark-skinned female, purple hair, black hair, long hair, ponytail, parted bangs, yellow eyes, black leotard, leotard, highleg, bare shoulders, gloves, black thighhighs, thighhighs, toned body, abs, big breasts, wide hips, sweat, sweat on skin, smile, smug face, smirk, sitting, sitting on floor, dojo, from above, from side, looking at viewer, foreshortening, kubo tite style. A single woman sits on the polished wooden floor of a dojo, seen from above and slightly to her right, the camera tilted down so her crossed legs recede and her shoulders sit nearest the lens. She is settled with her weight on her right hip, left leg folded over the right knee, right palm planted flat on the boards behind her for support while her left forearm rests across her left thigh, fingers loose. Her torso is turned a quarter toward the lens, spine leaning back a few degrees, chin lifted so she looks up along the line of sight into the viewer with yellow eyes half-lidded and one brow arched. Her lips curve in a closed, lopsided smirk, one corner pulled higher, a small crease at the cheek; the expression is amused, knowing, faintly mocking rather than warm. Her long purple-black hair is drawn back into a high ponytail that falls over her right shoulder and spills down across the floorboards behind her right hand, bangs parted and swept to both sides of her forehead, a few loose strands stuck flat to her temple and neck by sweat. The black leotard is high-cut at the hip, shoulder-baring, hugging her torso; a faint sheen of sweat stands on her collarbones, shoulders, sternum, forearms and the flat plane of her abdomen, where the light catches the ridged muscle and the slope of her waist into wide hips. Black thighhighs sheath her legs up to mid-thigh, the elastic band pressing a shallow groove into the skin; black gloves cover both hands, the right one braced and splayed on the wood, the left resting lightly. The only light comes from a paper-screened window off-frame to the upper left, a low warm daylight that rakes across the floor in long parallel bands, lights the left side of her face, shoulder and thigh, and leaves the right side of her body and the far corner of the room in deep shadow; her cast shadow falls away to the lower right, stretched and softened, and the sweat on her skin throws small hard highlights that do not appear on the matte fabric. Around her the dojo is quiet and mostly bare: dark timber boards running toward the back, a low wooden rack of practice weapons against the wall in shadow, the room empty of other figures. Palette restricted to deep blacks, warm honey-brown timber, the muted violet of her hair and the gold of her eyes. Smug, quietly powerful.
