Solo, tasked_genie, collar, cuffs, mystical, arabic inspiration, Harim Servant Genie. Harim Servants, and their female counterparts the Selama Servants, are one of the happier breeds of Tasked Genies. As their name suggests, they are essentially a variant of the Guardian Genie that was bred to serve as the protectors of collections of concubines and lesser spouses, whether female or male - this means you see harim servants more commonly than selama servants, because polygyny is more common than polyandry outside of certain circles (like the drow), but the two sexes are identical in their abilities and mindsets. Anyway, harim servant genies resemble tall, muscular, rather plain featured human men or women, and are characterized by their strong paternal feelings towards their charges; they demand respect and won't hesitate to punish unruliness, but they are naturally caring entities who view their charges as surrogate offspring and treat them as such. They genuinely enjoy their work, which consists of both booting out anyone who dares to sneak in and seduce the residents of the harim and caring for the harim's occupants, and they actually enjoy serving in the mortal realms - amongst the boudoirs of the noble genies, the harim genies are regarded largely as menial servants, so they enjoy the greater respect that mortals give them. In fact, they like it so much they usually don't charge much for their services. A typical harim servant genie's daily tasks range quite widely, and they are talented in many domestic and entertainment related skills, liberally spicing up their efforts with the use of the Cantrip spell - what later editions would dub "Prestidigitation". They often double as storytellers, singers, dancers, and comedians, and many pass these skills on to their charges. What a bright nobleman (or woman) should always keep in mind is that this strong emotional bond that a harim servant forms with its charges means it almost invariably comes to emphasize their wants over those of the genie's ostensible master, and this only doubles if their master is cruel or disrespectful to the genie - harming the harim or taking it away can drive a harim servant mad with grief and rage. If truly offended, they may even assist the harim's members in escaping or pursuing affairs, or even become a lover themselves in very unusual circumstances! Genies will respect a harim servant's presence and avoid disturbing its members without the servant's permission - for example, if the harim servant knows that an intruding genie will help a harem member escape an abusive or neglectful harem master for a kinder lover. The few magical abilities of harim servant genies are all intended to be used to protect, entertain, and serve their charges. They can cast a Cantrip, Control Temperature 10' Radius, Mending, and both Minor Creation and Major Creation, all thrice per day, and they can cast Alarm and Create Food & Water once per day, in all cases as a 9th level caster.
