Stone Age fairies
The Uncanny Valley is an instinctive reaction of unease when we saw something that looks like us but it's now really a human being. Actually it's used to express our uneasiness with animatronics and human-like robots but that must come from somewhere. There is an hypothesis that it's a reaction we acquire from the time out species share the world with other closer relatives with our species that could hunt us down as competition or prey. But what about the mythical creatures? When they appeared? Maybe they where there before the first written record. So in this image I show you the real reason why the humans fear instinctively something that looks like human but isn't, because on this timeline the fae during the stone age loved human meat.
