9/10 YOHIOloid🎂 お誕生日おめでとう✨VocaTone
💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 The Moment the Shutter Clicked After the final song ended, the music onstage slowly faded away. But the cheers from the audience showed no sign of stopping. YOHIOloid stood at center stage, looking out at the sea of glowsticks that still shone brightly below. The birthday gifts he had just received had already been neatly arranged beside the cake. Purple, pink, teal, red, blue, white and gold—the colorful boxes looked almost like a second little birthday display beneath the golden lights. He had assumed the night was almost over. Then Miku suddenly spoke up. “Wait! Aren’t we forgetting something really important?” YOHIOloid looked puzzled. “There’s more?” “Of course there is.” Miku smiled. “We’ve already had the birthday concert, brought out the cake, and given you all the presents—but we still don’t have a single photo with all nine of us together!” Rin immediately agreed. “That’s true!” Len added, “And the cake and all the presents have to be in the picture too.” KAITO smiled. “Otherwise, a few days from now someone might start wondering whether tonight really happened.” YOHIOloid laughed. “I’m not going to forget that quickly.” MEIKO looked at him. “That’s even more reason to keep a photo of it.” That made YOHIOloid fall quiet for a moment. He looked around the stage again. The birthday cake, the presents, the confetti that still hadn’t fully settled, and the eight people who had stayed beside him until the very end of the concert. She was right. This night was worth preserving. “All right.” YOHIOloid smiled. “Let’s take one.” The staff quickly arranged the cake and gifts. The nine of them gathered together at center stage. YOHIOloid naturally remained in the middle, with Gakupo, Luka, Miku, Teto, KAITO, MEIKO, Rin, and Len close by. Just as everyone was getting ready, Rin suddenly said, “Wait. I think we look too formal right now.” Len glanced around. “Do we?” “Yes.” Rin sounded completely certain. “We look like we’re taking a concert promotional photo, not a birthday picture.” Teto immediately laughed. “I know what you mean! It’s like everyone suddenly became way too serious.” YOHIOloid looked a little helpless. “Weren’t you the ones saying the photo had to look good?” “Looking good and looking natural aren’t opposites.” Miku replied as if it were obvious. KAITO chuckled. “I think she has a point.” “Don’t just agree with everything.” YOHIOloid’s comment made everyone laugh. The slightly stiff atmosphere immediately loosened up. Luka glanced at the group. “At least there’s one thing we should make sure of.” “What?” “No one gets to complain afterward that they happened to blink.” Len laughed. “Then I’d better warn Rin.” “Why me again?” “Because you’re the most likely to.” “I am not!” The familiar argument started almost instantly. MEIKO shook her head with a smile. “You two can even find something to argue about while taking a birthday photo.” “Isn’t that better?” Miku said cheerfully. “We’re supposed to capture what everyone is normally like anyway.” As YOHIOloid listened to them, a smile gradually appeared on his face again. He suddenly thought that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if the photo ended up a little messy. Because tonight hadn’t really been some perfectly arranged performance. At least, not the birthday part of it. Everyone had secretly prepared presents. Teto had nearly let the surprise slip. KAITO had deliberately tried to scare him about his gift. Miku had been looking forward to seeing his reaction when he finally opened hers. Rin and Len had even turned the way their gifts should be opened into another secret. Thinking about all of it made him smile again. Miku noticed immediately. “YOHIOloid, that expression is perfect.” “What expression?” “You look really happy.” YOHIOloid paused. “Haven’t I been happy all day?” “It’s different.” Miku smiled at him. “Before, you looked happy because you were performing. Right now, you look more like… you’re actually celebrating your birthday.” YOHIOloid didn’t answer right away. He simply looked around at everyone. Gakupo’s expression was softer than usual. Luka wore a quiet smile. Miku and Teto were still as lively as ever. KAITO and MEIKO looked like they were watching a group that would never stay quiet for long. Rin and Len were still arguing over the blinking comment from earlier. All at once, YOHIOloid realized Miku was right. A little while ago, he had been YOHIOloid standing at the center of a concert stage. But now— He really did feel like just someone spending his birthday with his friends. “…Maybe.” He answered softly. “Are you ready?” The photographer called from in front of them. At last, everyone went quiet. Though only for a few seconds. Just before the picture was taken, Teto suddenly asked in a low voice, “Wait, can we eat the cake after this?” MEIKO immediately replied, “Is that what you’ve been thinking about this whole time?” “But it would be a waste to leave it sitting there forever.” Miku quickly added, “I want some too!” “Can the two of you at least wait until after we take the picture?” YOHIOloid had barely finished speaking when everyone burst into laughter again. And at that exact moment— Click. The shutter went off. No one had been perfectly prepared. No one was deliberately holding a flawless stage expression. It was simply nine people laughing naturally at the same time. A short while later, the photo appeared on the large stage screen. Everyone looked up at once. The first thing YOHIOloid noticed was that it looked completely different from what he had imagined. It wasn’t neat and polished like a promotional photo. It didn’t look especially cool or perfect either. But every one of the nine people in the image looked genuinely happy. The birthday cake sat in front of them. The gifts everyone had given him were piled nearby. Above them hung the enormous banner— Happy Birthday YOHIOloid And there he was in the center of it all, smiling more naturally than he ever did in any official concert photo. “This photo…” YOHIOloid stared at it for a moment. Rin looked at him expectantly. “Well?” Miku also turned toward him. “Do you want to take another one?” YOHIOloid shook his head. “No.” “Really?” “Yeah.” He looked back at the screen. “I like this one.” Teto looked slightly surprised. “But nobody was ready.” “That’s exactly why.” YOHIOloid smiled. “It looks the most like us.” There was a brief silence. Then Miku was the first to laugh. “Then this is the one!” KAITO nodded. “It suits us.” Luka looked at the photo. “And when you see it again someday, you’ll probably remember tonight immediately.” YOHIOloid kept his eyes on the screen. He thought Luka was right. Years from now, he might not remember the exact order of every song they had performed that night. He might forget some of the smaller details of the concert. But he probably wouldn’t forget this photo. Because the moment he saw it, he would remember that night. The birthday cake everyone had prepared. The pile of presents beside him. All those noisy, ridiculous conversations. And the feeling of standing beneath a sea of golden lights and thinking, with complete certainty— I’m really glad I got to spend this birthday with everyone.
