Let’s Go for a Run - LifengxChen Qianyu&巡音ルカx神威がくぽ

💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 When the final note faded, Gakupo thought the light onstage was simply part of the performance. But it did not go out. Instead, it slowly opened before them like a doorway without a frame. Luka had barely turned toward him when the ground beneath her feet seemed to vanish. “Gakupo—” He immediately caught her outstretched hand. Light swallowed their vision. After a brief moment of weightlessness, their shoes touched solid ground again—but the applause had become the sound of flowing water and distant cheers. Gakupo steadied himself, then checked that Luka had not fallen. “Are you hurt?” She shook her head, still holding his hand. “No… But where are we?” Unfamiliar rooftops and towering structures rose around them. A river wound through the streets, and people crossed a nearby bridge. Behind them, the light had disappeared. “Are you two all right?” A clear voice called from nearby. Chen Qianyu hurried over, looking first at their expressions, then at the spot where they had landed. “For a second there, I thought you were going to fall.” Lifeng followed, stopping a little farther away to give them some space. “Would you like to sit down? There’s somewhere nearby.” Gakupo kept hold of Luka’s hand. “Thank you. We’re not injured. We’re just not sure what happened.” “We were in our own world a moment ago,” Luka explained. “Then a light appeared, and we ended up here.” Chen Qianyu’s smile faded slightly. “Your own world?” She exchanged a glance with Lifeng, but neither rushed to a conclusion. Lifeng looked back at the now-empty street corner. “The light is gone. Let’s get out of the road first. A lot of people will be passing through here soon.” Chen Qianyu nodded and guided them to the roadside. “We can sort out the rest as we go. First, introductions. I’m Chen Qianyu.” “Lifeng,” he added. “This is Wuling.” Gakupo inclined his head. “Kamui Gakupo. And this is Megurine Luka.” “Just Luka is fine,” she said with a grateful smile. Having exchanged names, the two visitors began to relax a little. Chen Qianyu contacted someone who could help investigate the unusual incident, while Lifeng brought them water and patiently answered their questions about the city. But the cause of their crossing could not be determined immediately, and finding a way home would take time. When she heard that they would have to wait for news, Luka lowered her gaze to the water bottle in her hands. Gakupo gently touched the back of her hand. She looked up and gave him a small nod. Chen Qianyu did not urge them to cheer up. She simply stayed nearby. When another burst of cheering rose from the far end of the street, Luka finally turned toward it. “Is there an event going on over there?” “A running event,” Chen Qianyu replied. “It happens to be today.” She looked at the visitors, then toward the starting area, and an idea occurred to her. “Since we have to wait, why don’t you come run with us?” Gakupo blinked. “Now?” “Sure. Standing here staring at that corner won’t make the doorway come back on its own.” Then her voice softened. “We’ll hear as soon as there’s any news. In the meantime, I can show you around Wuling.” Lifeng earnestly added, “The route isn’t difficult, and we can take it slowly. If you feel unwell, we’ll stop. I know the roads around here. You won’t get lost.” Luka looked at Gakupo. He was still hesitant, but when he saw curiosity returning to her eyes, his shoulders eased. “Would you like to go?” “Yes,” she said softly. “It’s better than standing here guessing what just happened.” “Then let’s go.” Chen Qianyu smiled at once. “Come on!” She gently took Luka by the wrist and led her a few steps toward the event service desk. Lifeng offered Gakupo his left hand. “Come with us. We’ll check how to sign up first.” Gakupo smiled and took his hand. “It looks like we’ve found some very enthusiastic guides.” “He’ll even keep track of the water stations for you,” Chen Qianyu called over her shoulder. Lifeng nodded. “Of course I will.” Luka laughed. For the first time since arriving, the unease in her chest began to loosen. After signing up and borrowing suitable sportswear, the four stood at the starting line. Chen Qianyu loosened her ankles and offered one final reminder. “Don’t sprint right away. Today, the goal is to finish together.” Lifeng looked at their guests. “Just stay with us.” The starting signal sounded, and the four set off with the crowd. At first, Gakupo kept glancing behind him, as though afraid the doorway of light might suddenly reappear. He soon noticed that Luka was doing the same. Lifeng saw it too. He slowed until he was running alongside them. “I have my communication device with me. If there’s any news, I’ll let you know.” Those simple words finally allowed Gakupo to turn his attention forward. “Thank you.” At the next bend, Chen Qianyu waved them over. “This way! Once we cross that bridge, you’ll get a better view of the river.” Luka followed her around the corner. A breeze swept across the water, and she looked up to see the bridge and rooftops reflected in its surface. Her steps grew lighter. “It’s beautiful.” “Isn’t it?” Chen Qianyu smiled and dropped back beside her. “You arrived just in time for the run. Pretty good luck.” “Does crossing worlds count as good luck too?” Gakupo asked. She considered that for a moment. “We’ll decide once we know what happened. This part, though—I can vouch for.” Lifeng took the conversation seriously. “We’ll help you find a way home too.” Chen Qianyu glanced at him, her smile softening. “I know. So watch where you’re going—you’re drifting into someone else’s path again.” Lifeng immediately adjusted his position. Gakupo and Luka exchanged a smile, and the four gradually settled into a comfortable rhythm. As they ran up the bridge, Luka’s breathing grew heavier. Gakupo shortened his stride to stay beside her. Chen Qianyu slowed as well, while Lifeng kept an eye on the people ahead. No one rushed her. “I’m still all right,” Luka said. “Good,” Chen Qianyu replied. “Then we’ll go at your pace.” When the finish-line flags finally came into view, Luka found a fresh burst of energy. Chen Qianyu glanced back at the other three. “One last stretch. Shall we?” Lifeng nodded. Gakupo turned to Luka. She answered with a smile. The four quickened their steps beneath the rising cheers and crossed the finish line together. Once they had stopped, Lifeng’s communication device sounded. Both visitors immediately looked toward him. He listened carefully before raising his head. “Someone is coming to learn more about what happened to you. They haven’t found a way back yet, but they’re ready to begin investigating.” Gakupo nodded, and Luka slowly let out a breath. Chen Qianyu handed her some water. “Then have a drink first. We’ll go meet them together.” Luka accepted the bottle and looked at the three people beside her. “Thank you for bringing us along.” “Next time, we won’t have to pull you into it, right?” Chen Qianyu asked with a grin. Gakupo glanced at Luka. “Next time, we’ll come along ourselves.” The way home was still unknown. But they were no longer simply two strangers standing on an unfamiliar street corner, waiting for answers. In this world, they had first met two people willing to reach out to them. And together, they had run through Wuling.
