Seen from below in a slight dutch tilt, a single muscular dragon in a vampire count's costume fills the frame from hooves to horns, the giant full moon hanging low and huge behind his right shoulder. He stands braced on a cracked stone parapet of the gothic castle, weight sunk into his left hip, right leg forward, tail sweeping behind him to the right and curling slightly upward at the tip: a thick, heavily-armored appendage plated in overlapping obsidian scutes, each ridge crowned with a short spike, the last three spikes longer and catching the moonlight in bright thin edges along their upper faces while their undersides stay flat black. His body is enormous and heavy through the shoulders, chest and thighs, every inch covered in deep obsidian-black scales that break the light into faceted chips, cold violet rim-light running along the top of his shoulders and the ridge of his snout. The costume reads clearly at this angle: a high-collared black and purple cape buckled across the shoulders, its collar standing up behind his horns, the cape's purple satin lining showing a fold of it down the right side; beneath, a gothic vampire vest in near-black with orange piping and purple brocade accents, and tattered bat-wing motifs stitched along the shoulder seams and the vest's pointed hem, the little wing leathers frayed and torn. Spooky magical orange particles rise and eddy around the pumpkin and up past his shoulder, and a low dark mist pools along the parapet and pours over its edge in slow ribbons. The single light sources are the moon and the pumpkin, and the mist catches both: orange where it crosses the pumpkin's beam, silver where it crosses the moon's; the bat wings nearer the moon cast soft shadowed streaking over the mist. Effortlessly spooky, playful.
