From a slightly low angle, a cowboy shot frames a pale, slender young woman standing beside an unmade mattress in a dim bedroom, caught in an expansive morning stretch. Her disheveled, shoulder-length jet-black hair spills messily across her shoulders, topped by a single prominent, curved ahoge springing upright from the crown. Her head tilts slightly backward as her mouth falls open in a wide, unrestrained yawn, her bright pink eyes squeezed down into drowsy crescents with tiny flecks of sleepy moisture at the lash line. Both arms are thrust straight overhead toward the ceiling, elbows slightly loose and fingers lazily curled, pulling her ribcage upward and arching her spine. She wears a relaxed black crop-top pajama overall with bib straps hooked over bare shoulders, the cropped bottom edge lifting taut across her ribs to bare her pale midriff and waist above matching loose black pajama shorts. Her weight rests on her right foot, planted flat against the dark wood floorboards, while her left knee dips slightly inward. Behind her, a rumpled tangle of off-white bedsheets drapes over the edge of a low bedframe. Soft, cool dawn light streams through the horizontal slats of a window blind, casting sharp, alternating stripes of shadow across the wall, floor, and tangled linens, while a stray warm beam illuminates drifting dust motes and highlights the edge of her stretched torso. The palette centers on deep charcoal blacks, pale skin tones, and cool desaturated slate, punctuated by the faint rose flush of her cheeks. Languid, sleepy intimacy.
