From above, looking down at three small fantastical creatures gathered together in deep afternoon sleep upon the plush, sage-green corduroy cushions of a wide sofa. In the center, a soft, amorphous lilac-pink gelatinous blob has melted into a flattened, relaxed puddle, its surface gleaming with warm specular highlights while its face shows two contentedly closed curved-line slits for eyes. Nestled closely to its left, a small straw-yellow ragged cloth disguise creature lies curled on its side, its tattered burlap-textured cloak draped limply against a mustard-yellow throw pillow; its left fake ear flops downward across the cushion while its dark scribbled facial markings rest motionless, its jagged dark wooden plank tail extending flat against the seat. Tucked just behind them into the warm crevice between the seat and backrest, a spherical violet balloon creature rests peacefully tilted, its fluffy cloud-like tuft of white cotton flattening against the fabric; two slender black string-like tendrils spill loosely across the couch cushion, their pale cloud-shaped tips resting motionless near the cloth creature's hem. A broad shaft of golden afternoon sunlight pours diagonally from an unseen window to the upper left, illuminating drifting dust motes in the air, washing warm amber light over the soft tufts and squishy surfaces, and casting long, gentle shadows toward the right. Underneath the sleeping trio, the sofa cushion visibly compresses, forming soft radial wrinkles in the corduroy weave beneath their resting weight. Peaceful, tender.
