Green lighting. Dark. Still stunned from your trip through the portal you stumble down the rocky hill. As your vision clears you look around at the world of averum for the first time. You are inside a fort made up of huge blocks of stone roughly mortared together. Wood must be rare down here as only the doors are made of it. There are trees nearby, strange things more fungi than wood. It’s not as cold as you thought. In fact it’s warm and moist and the smell of sulfur is heavy in the air. There must be volcanic vents down here. Even though you’re far far underground you can see well. The stone roof far above you is covered in a layer of luminescent fungus that bathe everything in a sickly greenish light. Thanks to this light you can get a clear idea of your surroundings. A mushroom forest in a cave, there are dark gathering up above. Dark atmosphere. Night. Fog. Horror. Green lighting.,#cosmiclandscapes, #alien landscape
