Nike, goddess of victory
For as critical i've been towards PixAI to this very day, i do acknowledge that PixAI merits their ranking in the Appstore for enabling my works among other reasons. So for i once shall put forward a non-cynicalartwork of genuine celebration albeit within my taste ofcourse and who better to represent this triumpf but the very goddess herself who embodies victory?: Nike. Nike, the ancient Greek goddess of victory, was the personification of triumph in both military conflicts and peaceful athletic competitions (which where the footwear brand Nike is inspired from). As described by Hesiod in his Theogony, she was the daughter of the Titan Pallas and the river goddess Styx, and siblings with Zelus (Rivalry), Kratos (Strength), and Bia (Force). These four siblings were brought to Zeus by their mother during the Titanomachy, the great war between the Titans and Olympians. For their allegiance, Zeus honored them by keeping them eternally by his side on Mount Olympus In Athens, she was worshipped alongside Athena in the form of Athena Nike, and a temple dedicated to her was constructed on the Acropolis.
