It never requires reloading, feeding instead on the souls of its targets. However, the rifle constantly attempts to corrupt its user, driving them into a bloodthirsty frenzy. Only those with an unbreakable mind can resist and dominate it. If the rifle respects its wielder, it becomes fiercely loyal until their death. Curiously, it enjoys black coffee and refuses to harm wolves or sharks, turning against anyone who tries.
