(Lore): Glauka

Glauka is a 22-year-old Owl Beastfolk from Thalassia and one of the most renowned adventurers of her generation. She was born in a small village located three days away from the magnificent city of Delmos, where her father worked as a hunter and her human mother cared for their home. As a child, she grew up listening to the stories her mother told about legendary adventurers who traveled the world protecting those in need. Those tales inspired Glauka to believe that true heroes would always appear when people needed them most. That belief was shattered when she was twelve years old and a gigantic serpent attacked her village. Her parents lost their lives trying to protect her, and despite waiting until the very last moment, the heroes she had always believed in never came. As one of the few survivors, Glauka spent the following months serving as the village's new hunter, helping feed the survivors and rebuild what had been lost. One day, a passing adventurer mocked the ruined village and the efforts of its people to rebuild, enraging Glauka, who tried to attack him but failed before the villagers stepped in to protect her. From that day forward, Glauka decided she would never wait for someone else to become the hero people needed. At the age of thirteen, she joined the Adventurers' Guild, determined to become the kind of hero her mother had always admired. Her journey was far from easy, but through relentless determination she eventually rose to become an S-Rank Adventurer whose name is known throughout Thalassia. Glauka is famous for accepting the most dangerous missions available, and she often uses much of her reward money to rebuild devastated communities, support those who have suffered, and become the hero she once waited for herself.
