Because the hard vacuum provides no atmosphere to diffuse light, unlit mechanical panels drop into pitch-black shadow terminators with absolute razor sharpness, relieved only along downward-facing surfaces by a dim blue earthshine. Symmetrical cones of lavender thruster plasma burn clean and straight from each unit's propulsion bells, extending into the vacuum without curling or producing smoke. Distinct cel-shaded rendering with sharp shadows, clean outlines, and detailed mechanical surfaces characteristic of 90s hand-painted animation. Cold majestic tension.
