She shifts her weight onto her forward foot, leaning her upper torso slightly forward as both hands grip the polished bamboo handle of a traditional straw broom—her right hand placed higher along the shaft and her left guiding the stroke below. Looking directly down toward the viewer with large, clear blue eyes and a wide, open-mouthed beam, her cheeks are dusted with a bright rose blush. She wears authentic shrine maiden attire: a crisp, snow-white kosode with expansive sleeves bound neatly out of the way by a crimson tasuki cord crossed over her chest and shoulders, tucked firmly into high-waisted, sharply pleated scarlet hakama trousers tied with a flat front ribbon. Her pale blue locks fan outward with the momentum of her turn, strands catching the clear morning air alongside the flutter of her red hakama pleats. At her feet, the natural straw bristles of the broom flex in an elastic curve against weathered grey granite flagstones, sweeping aside a cluster of fan-shaped golden ginkgo and scarlet maple leaves to reveal a clean, slightly damp swath of stone beneath. In the midground rises the warm cedar timber and vermilion railings of the shrine's wooden worship hall, while towering cryptomeria pines and the soft silhouette of a vermilion torii gate complete the background. Warm, directional morning sunlight filters through the pine canopy in crisp sunbeams, scattering dappled golden highlights across her white sleeves and the glossy sheen of her hair. Earnest and bright.
