character: soundwave_(transformers), starscream two characters, starscream, soundwave_(transformers), robot frame, mechanical humanoid, from below, dutch angle, low angle, over-shoulder composition, seated, knee up, elbow on knee, chin propped on knuckles, looking at another, sideways glance, raised eyebrow, smug, half-closed eyes, clenched fist, head tilt, black curly hair, short hair, parted bangs, twintails, twin braids, braid, red hair bow, hair bow, sailor collar, jacket, blue fingerless gloves, white thighhighs, black shoes, leotard, red shorts, crossed legs, dented metal plating, scuffed chassis, gauntlet resting on knee, other hand open at the wrist, assault visor, red visor, helmet, mouth mask, cable tendrils, cable draped over shoulder, cable coiled on the floor, riveted joints, open mouth, sharp teeth, cocky grin, windblown braid ends, fluorescent green light, sodium amber light, empty hangar bay, no humans, no text, no signage The view is from below and canted a few degrees off level, so the two of them sit high in the frame with a vaulted hangar roof falling away behind them. On the left, seated on a scuffed steel equipment crate with one knee drawn up and her heel hooked on the crate's lip, is a small-framed young woman in a black jacket with a sailor collar, a leotard and red shorts, blue fingerless gloves, white thighhighs and black shoes: short black curly hair parted into bangs, split into a pair of braids gathered under a red hair bow, the braid ends lifting faintly in a draft. Her right elbow is planted on her raised knee, chin propped on her knuckles, left hand clenched loose at her thigh; her head tilts, her brows hide under the curl of her bangs, and her half-closed eyes slide sideways toward her companion with a lopsided, sharp-toothed grin pulled wide under a lifted brow. On the right, close to the left edge of frame so that its near shoulder overlaps the shot as a dark mass, is a gaunt mechanical humanoid: helmeted head, a red assault visor banding the eyes, a mouth mask sealing the lower half of the face, dented and scuffed metal plating riveted at the joints. It stands rather than sits, weight settled on its left leg with the right knee slightly bent, a thick data cable draped over one shoulder and another cable coiled slack on the deck at its feet. Its visor is turned down and across toward the woman; one gauntlet hangs open at the wrist, the other extremity resting against its own forearm. The hangar is empty and cavernous: ribbed steel walls climbing to a corrugated ceiling, a couple of service cranes hanging still, deck plating running to a dark seam where it meets the wall. The only light is a cold fluorescent green panel high in the roof, laying a long hard shadow from the woman's crate across the floor and glinting off the mechanical figure's visor and plating; a low sodium amber wall lamp behind them rims the woman's hair and the crate's edge in warm ochre. Palette is held to cold green, warm amber, raw steel grey, and the red of the visor, bow and shorts. The reflection of the green panel lies thinner and darker on the polished deck than the panel itself. Cocky, conspiratorial.
