1girl, 1man, 2girls?, no, 1girl and 1 man, miyu edelfelt, black hair, medium hair, hair between eyes, brown eyes, hair ornament, hairclip, tiara, diamond collar, small breasts, crying, tears, blush, streaming tears, wet cheeks, trembling, ugly wedding dress, overly ornate wedding dress, tacky wedding dress, too much lace, excessive ruffles, too many bows, overdecorated dress, puffy skirt, huge skirt, oversized dress, glitter fabric, sequins, gigantic sleeves, ridiculous ornaments, garish mismatched trim, ugly man, adult male, unshaven stubble, greasy hair, crooked nose, from behind, over-shoulder composition, man hugging girl from behind, arm around waist, hand covering mouth, palm clamped over her lips, attempted abduction, struggling, looking at another, wide-eyed, half-closed eyes, jitome, sweat, tension, dramatic lighting,
The camera sits slightly behind and above the pair at a three-quarter over-shoulder angle: the man's broad back and shoulder fill the lower-left foreground in shadow, and past that shoulder the girl's face is turned toward the viewer's right, seen in three-quarter profile. He stands planted behind her, weight on his back foot, right arm banded around her waist and drawn tight against his chest so her back is pressed flat to his front; his left hand is clamped over her mouth, palm across her lips, fingers splayed over her cheek, thumb pressing the corner of her jaw, the heel of his hand crushing the lace at her throat. She is lifted a little onto her toes by the grip, one bare foot skidding, her small body arched away, both her hands clawing up at his wrist and forearm, nails digging in. Her black hair, cut to a medium length around her shoulders, swings forward over the arm covering her mouth, strands of it caught between his fingers, long bangs parted over her brow and hair between her eyes; a tiara is shoved crooked into the crown of her head, and a hairclip with a small flower pins the hair at her temple, one side slipping loose. Her brown eyes are wide and wet, tears standing in the lower lids and running in two tracks down her cheeks, blush blotching the skin across her nose and under her eyes, lips pushed out of shape under his palm, brows drawn up at the inner ends.
The dress is a disaster of a wedding gown and rendered as one: a huge puffy skirt of glitter fabric and sequins in mismatched sizes that sprays light in every direction, ballooning so wide it fills the lower right of the frame and drags on the floor in bunched folds; lace piled in three different patterns at the hem and bodice, ruffles layered so thickly they buckle into stiff waves, bows of ribbon and satin knotted at shoulder, waist, hip and hem until they crowd each other, oversized puffed and beaded shoulders caught and crumpled under his forearm; gigantic sleeves so overbuilt they swallow her arms, the right sleeve fallen back off her shoulder and hanging in a glittering sack. A diamond collar rings her throat beneath the lace, its stones throwing hard white glints that read against the dim room.
The setting is a shabby hall at night: a scuffed parquet floor, a dust sheet over something in the far corner, a single bare bulb overhead and slightly behind the pair. That bulb is the only light source, so it rims the man's shoulder and the top of her tiara and leaves his face and the far wall in shadow; the glitter of the sequins catches it in pinprick highlights, and long shadows of both figures stretch forward across the floor toward the camera. Palette pulls tight to cold grey-brown darkness against the frantic white-pink-gold noise of the dress. Tense, ugly dread.
