A wide cinematic shot from behind two figures leaning on a grandstand railing. On the left, a towering green-skinned man with a bald head, antennae, and pointy ears stands composed; he wears a white cape draped over a dark gi. His right clawed hand rests flat on the railing, and he exhales a cloud of grey cigar smoke, a fat lit cigar glowing orange between his fingers; he turns his head slightly to show a sinister, lopsided smile. Beside him, a smaller boy with spiky black hair in an orange martial arts gi is slumped forward in total despair, his back arched and head thrown back as he wails. The boy's hands are clawed deeply into his own hair, and a pile of crumpled betting tickets is scattered around his feet on the concrete floor. Below them, the sweeping dirt oval of a racetrack stretches away, where racehorses and jockeys in colorful silks are crossing a finish line marked by red-and-white rails. In the distance, a blurred crowd fills the grandstand under a brilliant, cloudless blue sky. Strong afternoon sunlight strikes from the upper right, casting crisp, deep black shadows across the ground. The rendering features thick black outlines, desaturated matte colors, and flat 1980s anime cel shading. Comedic contrast.
