1boy, solo, adult male, man in his 60s, burly, muscular build, tall, broad shoulders, long hair, hair tied back, low ponytail, white hair mixed with black hair, streaked silver and jet-black hair, short goatee beard, mature male, weathered face, full plate armor, medieval European plate armor, gold trim on armor, crimson mantle, red cape with gold trim, mantle attached to armor, black hakama, metal boots, holding longsword, sword in right hand, longsword planted in ground, sword tip in earth, standing, from below, low angle, wide shot, looking down at viewer, dim coniferous forest, dark forest, pine trees, spruce trees, mist, low key lighting, cinematic lighting, single light source, cold blue-green palette, gold accents, crimson accents, detailed armor, realistic The camera sits low near the forest floor, tilted up at a broad-shouldered man in his sixties who dominates the frame from below, so the pines lean inward over his shoulders and a narrow strip of dim sky glows behind his head. His weight is settled on his left leg, right hip dropped, torso turned a quarter toward his right so the planted sword is the nearest thing to the lens. Both hands are on the longsword: his right fist grips the leather-wrapped hilt just under the crossguard, knuckles forward, the blade running straight down and its point sunk a hand's depth into the needle-littered earth, and his left hand rests flat over the pommel to steady it, forearm braced, shoulders squared down over the grip. The steel boots are planted wide, toes turned out, the near boot's toe box scuffed dull where it has pushed through the duff. His head is tipped slightly forward, chin low, and his eyes, half-hooded under a heavy brow, look straight down the blade into the camera without warmth. His hair is gathered at the back of his skull in a low tail, silver-white with thick black streaks, a few loose strands pulled free and hanging by his temple and jaw; the short goatee is clipped close around a hard mouth held flat. The full plate armor sheathes him from gorget to fauld in overlapping lames, and every plate edge is banded with gold trim that catches the one light: the pauldrons' layered rims, the vambraces, the breastplate's central ridge. The crimson mantle falls from clasps at both shoulders and pours down his back and right side, its hem and border worked in the same gold, the wool heavy enough to hang in stiff folds rather than flutter. Below the fauld, the black hakama breaks the silhouette into wide, deep-pleated legs that swallow the light, gathered above the metal boots whose plates dull from greave to sabaton. The armor is not mirror-bright: road dust and fine grit sit in the seams, and a faint green-brown film of old weather has settled in the recesses. The single light source is a cold shaft falling through the canopy from the left and behind, so the gold trim ignites along its left-facing edge while the right side of his face and the front of his breastplate fall into deep shadow, and the mantle warms where the beam grazes the crimson. Beyond the shaft the forest goes to near-black: trunks receding in ranks, mist hanging in horizontal bands between them, the ground a carpet of wet needles with a scatter of pale mushrooms at the sword's base. Where the blade enters the earth the needles are pushed into a small raised ring, and a bead of moisture runs down the flat of the steel and stops at the soil line. Palette of cold blue-green shadow, dull steel grey, gold, and one deep crimson, nothing else admitted. Quiet, forbidding.
