character: noelle_holiday two-panel comic, split-screen composition, vertical divider, glowing red thorned line dividing the panels, 2girls, noelle holiday, anthropomorphic reindeer-girl, (left panel: cute, brown skin, small antlers, blonde hair, deer ears, freckles, brown eyes, red nose, deer tail, hooves, white collar, red checkered green sweater vest, black sleeves, black long skirt, white cuffs, smile, open mouth, buck teeth, walking down sidewalk, rural autumn town, trees, falling leaves), (right panel: female, red nose, freckles, brown eyes, small pink antlers, pink skin, pink fur, fluffy fur, furry body, long hair, mint-green-blonde hair, hooves, deer tail, white priest robes, red thorn ring on one hand, standing, frozen craggy grey cliffside, dark world, black sky), full-color, from side, walking, standing, looking ahead, autumn palette, cold monochrome palette A full-color two-panel comic image, the sheet split vertically down its middle by a single glowing red line bristling with thorns — the thorns short, curved and jagged along both sides of the light, the red glow spilling a soft hot rim onto the inner edges of both panels while each panel's own light source dominates its own ground; the divider is the only element that crosses the seam. ((In the left panel, a cute anthropomorphic reindeer-girl stands in profile, caught mid-stride on a paved sidewalk in a rural autumn town, walking from left toward the divider: brown-skinned with soft fur at the cheeks, small antlers rising from her blonde hair, deer ears perked, freckles dusted across her nose, brown eyes, a red round nose, a deer tail lifted behind her long black skirt, and hooves striking the pavement — one hoof planted flat, the other lifted at the heel. She wears a white collar at her throat, a red checkered green sweater vest, long black sleeves, white cuffs, and a black long skirt; her near arm swings forward and her far arm back, the skirt and vest hem swaying with the step. Her chin is up and she is smiling with an open mouth, buck teeth showing: a bright, easy, unguarded grin, her gaze aimed ahead and slightly up the sidewalk. Behind her, a row of autumn trees in light, rust and light lines the sidewalk, a few leaves caught in the air; low warm afternoon sunlight rakes in from the left, rimming her antlers and laying long thin shadows of trunks and her own legs across the pavement, with the ground warm-lit where it faces the light and cool shadow pooled under the trees. The palette is burnt light, light, russet and a warm light ground, with her red nose and the green of her vest the two saturated accents.)) ((In the right panel, the same reindeer-girl stands still and near-frontal at the foot of a frozen craggy grey cliffside in a dark world under a black sky: pink-skinned with dense fluffy pink fur across her arms and body, small pink antlers, long mint-green-blonde hair, brown eyes, freckles, a red round nose, deer ears, a deer tail behind her, and hooves set flat and square on the ice. She wears long white priest robes falling to the ground, her hands folded at her waist, and a red thorn ring encircling one finger — the small ring's barbs catching a thin spark of red. Her posture is straight, quiet and composed, her gaze level toward the viewer, mouth closed. The cliff wall behind her rises in angular grey slabs, its cold faces rimed with frost that whitens only the upward-facing ledges and the tops of the ice; the light is a weak cold dark from above, so her pink fur and mint hair read pale and desaturated against the black sky, and the deep shadow of the rock stays near-black. The palette is grey, dark-white, near-black and the single red of the ring and nose.)) Both figures are rendered with clean cel-shaded linework and flat, crisp color blocking, the two palettes — warm autumn and cold frost-grey — meeting and staying strictly on their own sides of the glowing thorned divider. Quiet, eerie tenderness.
