A high-angle waist-up portrait looks down at a girl slumping forward in exhaustion. Her weight is shifted heavily onto one leg, with her right forearm bracing firmly against her knee to keep her upright. She is breathing heavily, her expression a mixture of pain and pride, marked by a lopsided half-smile that reveals a single small fang. Her long purple hair, shot through with black streaks, is disheveled and clings to her face; her horns protrude through the mess, and her pointed ears droop slightly from fatigue. character: rindou_mikoto. Her purple kimono is catastrophically wrecked by battle — enormous ragged slashes tear across the chest, torso and both wide sleeves, great panels of fabric ripped completely away and hanging only by threads, one sleeve entirely torn off and lost, the remaining cloth reduced to tattered ribbons swaying with each heavy breath. Her skin beneath is smudged with soot, battle dirt and thin red scratches. The scene is set in a dark, ruined traditional Japanese courtyard; glowing orange embers scatter across the ground and thick curls of smoke drift through the air, lit only by the warm, dying glow of a nearby lantern. Glossy anime illustration, waist-up portrait composition.
